Most of the TSBs for misfire seem to be from September 21st effecting rams from August back, I could be wrong but I think all these are wrapped up in the latest flash update.

It’s cold start catalyst misfire, it’s under other updates at the bottom

You might be able to get your dealer to flash it, they usually wanna see a check engine but worth a shot, it’s a software update takes 10 mins

I never had a Cel, but I had the rough running on cold start. My ram was built April of 25. They just updated the software to the newest version, I guess time will tell if it’s fixed.

I had them perform it today without the code. We will see. Shifting seems better at the moment, I wanted to beat the engine light to the punch

Can you can confirm it was tsb TSB: 18-071-24, I’m going to see if I can persuade them to do the update again lol

I brought up the TSB: 18-071-24 relating to cold start misfires to my ram service over the phone and they said I can’t get the update unless a check engine light is on, even if I’m experiencing the symptom.

Oh I have 3.55 not too bad with the shifts

Did you have a check engine light or you just scanned and found the codes?

Out of curiosity do you use 87 or premium fuel not sure if that makes a difference

The dealer filled up my S.O hurricane with 87 gas. I was curious should I keep using 87 or use 91/93. I’ve always heard it’s better for a high compression turbo engine. Looking to see what others are doing and results.

I’ve been hearing about a computer flash update, unsure if you had it already. Do you know your build date?

That’s probably best replaced. My 2019 had a color match but plastic.
