Off pavement travel/dispersed camping in Pennsylvania. Or anywhere

It'll fit trust me ;) I did my spring wash and wax a little early last week and most of the scratches buffed out haha.

Added Wireless QI Charger to my 2020 Ram Bighorn

I did something similar a few years back to mine. I went a different route though because I wanted everything hidden and I rarely use that phone holder that RAM provided. The power comes from the 110v outlet inside the console and the coin tray goes right over the top of the Qi charger that I...

Ever get hung on your riding boards?

Those aren't true rock sliders or rails. I mean you could use them as such, but they won't hold up.

Ever get hung on your riding boards?

White Knuckle Off Road. They start at $900 and only work with the 26 gallon tank. They add 200+ pounds to the truck. https://white-knuckleoffroad.com/product/ram-1500-rebel-gas-2019-newer-rock-sliders/

Ever get hung on your riding boards?

My sliders give you about a 4" lower stepping area. Measured from the truck door jam to the top of the slider bar. They have saved my truck from damage on multiple occasions already. Which reminds me; I need to re-paint the underside of them.

    No locker. No problem.

That's the OEM bumper that I took an angle grinder to and chopped. Behind that is a @VICE design hidden winch mount.

    McLean Metalworks Hammock Mount

Do you have to completely remove it to put down the tailgate or does the hammock fold away while still be mounted to the hitch?

    RMT Overland

    I agree completely.

    RMT Overland

Finally, a bumper that looks pretty good. Looks heavy though and I don't see a need for front bumper armor other than a good skid plate. A simple tubular baja style bumper with a winch mount and skid plate would be ideal for me. Until then I'll stick with my chopped OEM bumper and hidden winch...

Great stuff. I love exploring my backcountry and finding random spots.

    5th Gen Hidden Winch

Got mine! Thank you. I'm interested in that relocation kit too!

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

Nicely done and much better skid plate. Another thing to add to my to-do list. I like the red tow points on your truck over black.

What did you do to your Ram today???

It's a hidden winch mount behind the bumper. It's made by @VICE design

What did you do to your Ram today???

Painted my front end black. Left some chrome accents. Also did the rear bumper in black. Next I'll vinyl the door handles and tailgate handle.

Anyone locate the transmission breather tube?

I've found the breather tube/vent line for the rear and front diff. Also for the transfer case. I can't seem to find the one for the transmission though. I only spent a minute under the truck looking but figured I'd ask here. Google wasn't able to help with our ZF8 speeds. I even looked at my...

    Aftermarket bumper skid Plate

Same here. It would also protect my winch.

Off pavement travel/dispersed camping in Pennsylvania. Or anywhere

@devildodge I have not seen that specific site before. It looks great though (at least that Arizona route does), thank you! I use Gaia GPS, Avenza maps, All Trails, and google map/earth. Not necessarily all at once, but a combination of them depending on the situation. Currently, I'm exploring...
