Did you install airbags or anything to help mitigate sag with that much pin weight? Or is your pin location forward enough of the rear axle to push the entire truck down? I've been considering installing a gooseneck ball in mine to get back to being able to pull around the 20+5 flatdeck goose...
I didn't buy it to tow big, but I did buy it to tow often... These are my two typical load outs, and it's got one of these setups behind it at least once a month:
Has anyone removed the factory CD player? I'd like to try and re-purpose that space but I don't want to unplug the CD player and then have the rest of my audio/NAV system freak out because a component is missing???
You have to buy the flares, and what they call "spats"... those are the black trim pieces right at the rear lower edge of the fender. These are the parts I ordered several months ago:
I removed all of the clips (they pop out easily) and just used the screws inside the wheel lip to hold them in place. They are completely secure, and if you take your time while snugging them up you can work the majority of any gap issues out. What I also did, however, was install some fender...
Perfect, thanks. That's the one I was thinking (y)

Sorry for the hijack
Looks awesome!!! What Smittybilt compressor did you go with? I'm still contemplating my options for OBA at this point...
Used mine to get the Jeep out in the snow this weekend:
Interesting... when I hook up my trailer the rear sensors do turn off automatically? In fact, I have to manually turn them back on when I unplug the trailer... maybe mine is wired backwards :ROFLMAO:
I thought us Jeep guys were the only people that actively sought out the only possible obstacle in our path to drive over instead simply driving around :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Kind of a loaded question, as there can be significant variations between similar trucks simply due to tolerance stacking... Also, the offset of the wheel plays a tremendous role in what hits/fits, but generally keeping the tires flush or even tucked inside the fenders will help avoid rubbing...
I'm not sure about the MOPAR UCA's, but we noticed a visible camber difference between the OEM and the ReadyLift UCA, so I would probably recommend it?
Just following up on towing after install of the 4" BDS system. Overall impressions are pretty good, but I do have some driveline vibration under hard acceleration when towing. I'm out of options at this point to get the driveshaft angles perfect, so I'm going to have to look into adjustable...
Just helped a buddy do this last night. Did not have to remove anything but the tire/wheel. We did one side at a time. Used a floor jack right under the lower strut mount, picked the tire up about 1" off the ground, removed the tire/wheel, removed the upper ball joint nut, knocked the ball...
