That does suck. I traded in my Hemi on an ED and I love it.
Surprised they would do that when Chevy is releasing an updated version of the duramax with more power and torque.

74,000km on my 2020, no issues. Love my diesel and plan on getting it tuned by GDE as soon as my warranty is up.
Been changing the oil every 10,000km or so.

You have a limited with some heavy options. The 33gallon tank, ORG and MFT tale away a lot of payload. The limited itself is heavier than base model trucks as well.

Yep. My understanding is that when you're under heavy load it basically stops charging and when decelerating or light load it will charge. This helps reduce parasitic drag on the engine.

I had my truck reflashed and the battery monitor replaced. It fixed my no remote starting.
The voltage will fluctuate still as it's part of the intelligent charging system.

My ecodiesel burned about a quart in the first few thousand miles and then stopped. It doesn't burn any at all now with 73,000km on it. Others have reported similar results.

Yes I'm hilarious. And you're combative. You seem to only want to hear what you want to hear. People are trying to help you out.
I know you've been here for a whopping 8 posts but there are many on this forum who are very experienced with Ram trucks. I've had two Gen 5s and have had little to...
Use a 27mm socket to torque it down next time. Just keep going until it snugs up nice.
The filter is pretty tight to thread on by hand and you won't get it seated properly.

I've heard the bypass on the cheap oil filters isn't as good.
Do the cheap fuel filters say the micron rating anywhere?

So you had one issue, I assume the dealer took care of it.
Now you MAY have another. But so far nothing to prove you do and you want to ditch the truck?
If your engine were to blow they most certainly would provide you with a loaner. Since this is a potential documented issue.
I have a 2020...
I think you're over reacting a bit. Your truck is driving just fine. It's documented that you took it in so if your truck blows up it will be covered.
Black oil is normal on diesels. It will be pitch black within a thousand miles.

Everybody takes this so personal.
My ecodiesel has 3.92s and gets 28+ MPG easily on the highway. I generally drive around 70mph, not much faster. If I lived in the USA where speed limits are 75+ (it's 62mph or 100kmh) in most of Ontario Canada, I'd probably get the 3.21.
Ideally the old 3.55...
I use it. The truck will still go into 8th gear with to haul mode on. I find it does a better job of grade shifting with tow haul mode on.
How are you liking the GDE tune? I have a 2020 and want to get it done.

Next time just do it yourself. There's lot of YouTube videos and it's as easy as taking two bolts out. I did mine at about 40k miles and used Mopar fluid and friction modifier. My rear end fluid was pretty dark, the front looked fine.
I tow quite a bit in winter conditions on snowmobile trips...
The only thing priced reasonable there is the oil change. The rest is an absolute rip off and I'd highly suggest doing yourself.
