Yep. My understanding is that when you're under heavy load it basically stops charging and when decelerating or light load it will charge. This helps reduce parasitic drag on the engine. Sent from my SM-G781W using Tapatalk

Next time just do it yourself. There's lot of YouTube videos and it's as easy as taking two bolts out. I did mine at about 40k miles and used Mopar fluid and friction modifier. My rear end fluid was pretty dark, the front looked fine. I tow quite a bit in winter conditions on snowmobile trips...
