You cermaic coated it prior to PPF? I thought PPF needed to lay down first, then ceramic on top? Truck looks good though! I don't have the time to polish and prep it myself, unfortunately.
Sounds to me like I am paying a $600 premium for living in Southern California.... I feel like I'm going to be forced to do a polish which means an additional $500. I need to move.
Damn. How much was the PPF? I currently have a quote for $3200 for full PPF on front (bumper, full fender, mirrors, pillars, roof, full hood, door handles), full ceramic w/ 5 yr, and window tints for all windows. No polish included prior to install so I would need it detailed elsewhere or pay an...
Ouch. I just ordered a set of WildPeak A/T3W 275/60R20s to go with new 20" Fuel Beasts. Gonna pick them up this week. I'd be lucky to get 13MPG because I live up a big hill so I always take a hit to the MPG driving home. I'll let you know what mine drops to but if it dips below 10, I'm gonna...
yeah, it does suck to live here sometimes... gonna need to get other quotes too, but i have a feeling they'll all be at around the same price. Most likely the labor cost that's super high.
Nah, I like the low profile look of the Lomax. I'm sure I can get it to all fit, but I would hate to have to cut those brackets. The rails aren't that big of a deal since they're aluminum, but those brackets are 1/4" steel...
Just got the RO brackets and put those on and then attempted to install the rails for the Lomax... yep, will definitely need to trim off part of the rails AND the RO brackets it appears so the bolts will fit against the back of the bed. It may not be worth all the effort afterall so I may have...
I just put in an order for some Falken 275/60R20 on some new 20x9 Fuel Beasts to replace my stock Limited 22".. I pondered going 285/55R20 but that would've been an additional $400 and a hit to the MPG. Will post pics and let you know how they run once installed next week!
Did you need to do anything special to the Lomax rails that clips to the bed? I just ordered the RO brackets and hoping my Lomax can just drop right in to replace the OEM cover.
