Looks good! I had considered going up to 275/65, but I didn't want to level or put in a lift so I opted to go with slightly smaller tires. Also saves $400 because a larger size would mean shifting into LT sizes that I don't need since I do no towing.
WOW, where are you located? I just shelled out 4k for mine but with PPF.. without, it's still way more than $900 and I have to pay $160/yr to stay under warranty! Feels like a bit of a scam.........
Haha yeah I've spent more money on this truck than I've ever spent on ANY car/truck I've owned! And I've had to replace an entire engine on a Tacoma 20 years ago!
Wow, I was just thinking about doing something like this! I looked at the Limited's RAM emblem in the grill and I think I would have to cut out the letters... I may have to remove the entire grill and route out a spot for some LEDs.
Saved a lot on going with Falkens. I also could've gone up to 285/60s or 275/65s but then they would be considered LTs and I didn't want to sacrifice too much fuel efficiency. I think the 275/60s are a good compromise and still get a good, aggressive look along with the 3 peak mountain rating...
Haven't driven it enough yet to tell. Literally put it on Saturday morning and drove it back and it's been sitting in the driveway since. I'll be taking it out in a few minutes here to drop it off for PPF and ceramic coating so I'll get a better sense after. Pondering getting the FlashCal to...
I imagine the tires on the 20" wheels are 285/50 or 285/55 so dimensions-wise, they're about the same. The 22" wheels themselves are decent size. If you want larger, replace the tires. I opted to go down to 20" wheels and got 275/60/20 tires.
good deal
Good deal.. I'll try to get to it when I get the truck back from PPF and ceramic coating this weekend. Thought about putting it on before they covered the truck but reconsidered it and will wait until after.
