Just have to keep in mind when going with 22s and a larger tire the clearances you'll need to factor in. Most that do, tend to not keep their stock suspensions or add a lift and/or spacers to reduce risk of rubbing.
good point. I use a combo of two different blowers (the garden blower and a shopvac) as well as an air gun from my compressor. If I find it gets dusty after a wash, I'll switch to hand drying, or jerry-rig a filter of sorts to the intake on one of the blowers.
Yeah, I definitely don't drive it and it doesn't get all too dirty. I'm pretty sure my tune may change if I end up driving it a lot more. I'm at 700 miles and I'm 2 months in. I use a product called Polished Protection Cleanse for foaming/soaping.
Yep! And no more need for the bucket system either, unless I'm feeling masochistic and wanna scrub down by hand.. no thanks! Oh, and don't forget a good blower of sorts. I have a blower I used to use for gardening that's battery powered and that thing puts out 500 cfm easily! Helps dry that...
I just let it sit for about 5 minutes or so then power wash/rinse off the foam. If needed, I'll dampen a microfiber and aggitate areas where there's sap or other residue. It does help that my truck is ceramic coated, though. That's probably why I don't have to agitate or apply as much hand cleaning.
I was averaging about 12MPG on my 2019 Limited. I'm right at 13MPG on my 2021 Limited eTorque. I also live on a big *** hill so I will always lose whatever gains I made going home.
The 2020 bracket looks a bit longer? Although if you compared the measurements from the bend and use that as your reference face, the holes actually appear to be in the same spots at the same dimensions.... not sure why there would be any difference or discrepancies?
I run 275/60/R20. I've heard of people going to 285/65/R20 without issues or just slight rub at full lock. I think some of it will depend on whether you want to jump into LT tires or not. For me, an extra $400-$500 wasn't worth it since I don't tow at all and plus your speed rating also drops so...
The only cover I know that works with it is the OEM soft cover, which has a rail-less implementation as they're basically just clamps. As for flex, I think it's more to keep the bed square/true so it doesn't warp to ensure the doors can still close. If you're carrying lots of payload or going...
I believe someone in this thread or some other thread had one custom made that was 1/4" thick with a cross brace at 45 degrees at the bottom to give enough clearance for the cover's rails. 1/4" feels a bit thin to me considering how bulky the OEM brackets are and how they're designed/engineered...
I was afraid that was going to happen. Was hoping I could get away with not having to add the spacers, but it appears I'll have to to maintain the ride quality.
Haven't had a chance to install anything yet, in the midst of some furniture projects aside from work also kicking my *** the past couple weeks. I'll try to get to it this weekend.
I have these same links and was planning to install them this weekend. Probably look to bring the front up 3/4" and the rear down about 1/2" to get a more level look without sacrificing too much in ride quality or throwing off the air suspension and losing certain ride heights.
Yep, that guy. I had my clip right to the right of it below the cable. For the 60" version, you could probably get away with only using 3 clips instead of all 4 and just have one more centered over the license plate instead. Then you'd just need a single spacer, about 1/2" should be good.
