You have to get the Right On replacement brackets if you have the MFT, then cut the portion of the LoMax rails back about 10.5" - 11" to clear the new brackets. The rails will overhang the back of the bed about 3/8" (the thickness of the new brackets). The front of the cover just barely clears...
Was finally able to put my Lomax Cover back on! Had to modify the rails by cutting them a little bit, but they're still fairly solid and stiff! Also added extra weather stripping because I can see where water will leak in, and will probably have to add more as there is still a little bit of a...
I bought from discount tires, so I believe they'll do the remount and balance for free. I may need to pay for the cost of labor for putting in the new TPMS. We'll see how it goes, TPMS aren't expensive anyways.
Ordered through Amazon last night. Hellwig direct has it for $280 and Amazon was at $260, so I figure I'd rather get the benefits of a better ride than waiting until who knows when just to save an extra $10-$20 wasn't worth it to me.
Yeah, I've been dealing with Melinda and she's been really good at educating me on this whole thing as this will be the first time I'm doing this to any vehicle I've owned. That yearly $160 still feels like a money grab though. Ha!
Wow, not bad. I'm doing full front PPF with A pillars and roof line and the silver ceramic along w/ tint to all windows for $3800. I have a feeling they're going to charge me to polish the truck too... Still not bad considering I got another quote from a place in Torrance for $4500, but no tint.
Just installed! Fuel Beast 20x9, +1mm offset on Falken WildPeak A/T3W 275/60/R20. I think next set I get will be 275/65's to get larger sidewall. I feel like it'll fit without any rub but right now, these fit perfect and there is no rubbing at all.
Or screw the money and gas efficiency and drive it however you want! But yeah, I would suggest lotsa patience and consider all your drives a stroll versus a sprint.
Pretty sure you can google it or go on Fuel's website for the wheels. Tires, also googleable. I paid $2600USD w/ TPMS including new lugs. Since I'm keeping the stock rims/tires, I would rather just have separate TPMS instead of having to swap every time I wanted to change out for summer vs...
I bought some Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws 275/60/R20 with some 20" Fuel Beasts +1mm offset. Should've already came in but Discount Tire forgot to place the order last week so they're not coming in until next week. Will take pics once they're installed.
I'm with @securityguy. The only reason I traded in my 2019 to get the 2021 was for the Night and Tech packages. The HUD is even better than the HUD on the wife's X5!
So it detects impact/collision? I think I'll probably get one since this vehicle isn't a lease. Prior, I didn't really care and just let insurance deal with it. You guys all bring up great points!
