In regards to the E-Torque, if you are in traffic and if you just slightly creep forward without coming to a dead stop for 2 seconds the engine won't shut off. I just leave a little bigger gap if I am approaching an intersection. You don't really have to move forward much at all to keep the...
Well I just turned a 1000 miles today. I thought I would share a few observations and thoughts.
1. I love the E-Torque. I have learned how to work the brake pedal in the times I don't want it to shut off. The stop/start is pretty seamless. I do notice that when coasting downhill the truck...
I put on a 2018 tonneau cover an it doesn't work well. It leaks water from the side and makes the rear tailgate hard to open and close. Thought I might get it to work but no dice. What brand tonneau covers for the 2019 RamBox are actually in stock somewhere already?
Most of the gas at the public gas stations are 10% right? Is there one brand better than the other? I am not up to speed on different kinds of gas. My E-Torque so far is just under 17 mpg at around 800 miles in. I am hoping to get around 19 mpg. I used to be 16-17 mpg on my 2015 model.
I am putting the hard folding fabric covered Mopar tonneau cover designed for the RamBox 2018 model on my 2019 at my dealer tomorrow.. Measurement seems the same and the GM has one on his 2019 with no issues. Hoping it works out for me as well. I had this on my 2015 and really liked it.
Here...
After a visit to my dealer, my bed extender posts are installed as it should have been from the factory. No charge to me. My bed divider was never shipped from the factory. My dealer had to order one from Ram. The divider came in at the same time as the extender posts. When I went to check it...
Yes I did. Dealer said no fault codes showing. They are sending an email to their tech line. I will check back on Friday. I am thinking this won't be a quick fix. In the meantime when I set it to Normal mode (manually) it does what it is supposed to do from that point. I just want it to work...
If I set it manually to normal it adjusts itself like it it supposed to according to speed. If I set it to entry mode it never gets higher then aero mode. I will have it looked at. For now I just keep it at normal mode. I like the entry mode for when my kids get out of the truck.
My understanding is the bed divider lock is keyed to your vin number. Have you tried unlocking it with your current truck key? I am picking mine up on Wednesday. My dealer had to order it from the factory.
Mine just goes to aero and stays there. I'm going into the dealer next Wednesday to get my bed extender posts installed, I'll have them look at this as well while I am there
