I'm interested to see what you guys come up with. I was out in the boonies last night and ended up having to turn around on a ridge in the dark. Couldn't see anything in my mirrors or on the camera so I had to move a few inches, get out and check, then move some more, then check again...... Got...
I was just thinking the same thing. I've driven plenty of non-powered steering vehicles with relative ease. Does the electronic steering on this cause total lock-up upon failure?
Depends on what your definition of "cold climate" is. Where I live in northern Montana, the winters regularly bring sustained temperatures (without windchill) between -30F and -40F, during which time nothing really works right, rolling or folding. It would help if you fill out your...
Yes. When I got to the dealer to pick up my truck, I called the incentive line, explained my story and that one of their representatives said to call at time of pickup to reissue the offer, and the lady on the phone gave my dealer a code that worked. Not an issue at all. I was very surprised!
In short, its doing exactly what its supposed to be doing. It reminds me of using an engine or "Jake" brake on a diesel. (Since my previous rig was a diesel, it doesn't really bother me). It is something that you will need to get used to if you decide to get that option, but I can promise you...
I thought the same thing when I first saw it. But, now that I actually own one, I can say that it is not as in-your-face in person as it is in pictures. At least not in mine. It is more of a subdued/dark red than a bright red. Plus, the old lady girlfriend is super picky about interior colors...
I literally just got of the phone with Morrie (man, that dude can talk!). He said that the major manufacturers are all finalizing test-fits on an actual 19 Rambox truck this week. So, hopefully things start becoming available soon.
I had a Bakflip G2 on my 17 2500 with Ramboxes, and I have one on order for my 19 from Morrie. I cant say that its completely waterproof, but its extremely water resistant! When driving down the road, I never got a drop in the bed from rain/snow. Parked in the rain, or in the carwash, it had the...
Don't discount the G2 from Bak. I had it on my 17 with Ramboxes and it was a great cover. No hassle, no extra keys, and never interfered with using the Ramboxes. I have one on order right now for my 19.
Well, Its actually raining AND snowing now:rolleyes:. I will absolutely get some good pics up as soon as it clears though!
I do have a nice picture of the chip/dent that I picked up yesterday on the drive home if you'd like to see that. Saw it coming, but couldn't do anything but take the...
Its not always caused by following too closely. In fact, this thread jinxed me. On my way home from work, I caught a 1 or so inch filed stone in my hood. Kicked up by a passing bale hauler. Saw it coming, couldn't do anything but take the hit. So, now my 2 day old, less than 300 mile beautiful...
I'm pretty sure they stopped having them standard several years ago. I know my 17 didn't have one either. If I remember correctly, they can be ordered and installed fairly easily. I'm pretty sure there is a thread over at ramforumz(sp?) that tackles this subject.
Man, That's Brilliant!!! I don't think people south of Wyoming realize the size of the rocks on the road up North, and the frequency with which they are encountered. Now, if only there was a way to prevent the chipped/cracked windshields!
Admittedly, I was going too fast to try to engage it:ROFLMAO:. Hopefully this front rolls out of here soon and some good weather follows so that I can get out on the trails and do what I bought this thing to do!
