Two separate issues. The pins they are referring to are for the bed extender. Nothing to do with bed step

You can use it with the tailgate up or down and it doesn’t block any sensors

this has been covered in several threads, FCA is cracking down on sites providing tracking service. This site, and others, have shut down any official tracking to protect those who were helping track orders. Unless FCA changes their stance, it is permanent
