Can you be a little more specific about your situation. One, do you have cracks in the frame as many have had? Two, do you have leaks that are visible? Three, how and where did you apply the rtv? Thanks

Sorry to hear that, I definitely don’t have any of those problems. I assume you are saying you have the same 18.27.17 version.And I assume you have tried all the usual fixes, such as XM RESET, etc

Help what? I have 18.27.17 and as far as I can tell, no problems whatsoever. What type of problems are you having? Maybe I have problems and don’t know it?

I have not verified this, but it makes sense that there is some type of solenoid inside the tailgate around the handle that is used to open the latch. You could probably open the access hatch on the tailgate and disconnect and tape the connector to the solenoid,
