Speaking as a father and having a car seat in my truck. Only thing I wish they did differently was make the left side and middle of the back seat lift together instead of the right (where the car seat is).
How does beadmaker hold compared to others? I watched a video comparing a few different kinds and tec 582 held up the best. And at $40 a gallon and being able to dilute this stuff it was a no brainer to go with the tec582.
I spent about 6 hours today on my truck. Initial stripping wash, iron and Tar remover, another wash and dry. Then clay bar and ceramic spray. My arms hurt lol. Moving forward with maintenance wash and ceramic spraying every few months will be much easier. The Tec582 ceramic detailing spray...
I want to say Bilstein recommends not going above the #5 setting using the stock UCAs. I believe the angle would have too much stress on them. I'm debating going #4 or #5. 1.7" or 2". Difference of .5 inches or .25. Honestly I think either would make a huge difference and not be a sore sight...
Has anyone confirmed how accurate of a lift you get in the front with the Bilsteins chart with the notches? My front is currently sitting 2.25" lowers than the back. Don't want to Max the shocks out and put even more stress on the coils and UCAs.
I'm only considering the purple power because this will be the first detail since I bought the truck. So no telling how contaminated the surface is from delivery to the dealer and with how long it sat on the lot. I've heard good things about collinite wax so I may do that then use the Tech 582...
While I've heard using purple power as an initial wash to strip old wax and grime off. What are you guys using as a maintenance wash after you've used wax/polish/ceramic detail and applied to truck?
When I finally get a day off work with decent weather I'm giving mine it's first complete detail. I'm going to foam cannon with some purple power, hand wash, iron and Tar remover, Clay bar, polish, then ceramic detail spray. Any experience with a good tire coating that doesn't sling everywhere?
Anyone have pics of their ride with these installed? Comments on the ride compared to stock? My 19 Laramie doesn't have the ORP or Air suspension also so if you fit that category your input would be greatly appreciated.
