Thanks! Looks like I may have set it up pretty close to where it needs to be. The front side behind the cab looks dead on but in the rear by the tailgate I may need to bring the cover back a bit. My tailgate may be just barely closing with the last rubber seal.
Called customer service and it was a breeze. New pieces will be shipped out Monday. Only other thing was some of the sections on the instructions were literally blank with just words like they forgot to put the pictures in it lol of course it was the tailgate section. Anyone care to share...
First two items I take out the wrapper have broken clips for the rod holders on the side rails. Horrible first impression of the mx4. Has anyone had this issue before and how are their customer service for these issues?
Sometimes it's better to let in lol I'm just looking for whatever exhaust is manufacturered to produce optimal performance with a stock engine setup. I guess it's still too early to tell.
I know it can't be much but also know that a duel exit with a single enter muffler should produce more flow resulting in more power essentially. Of course other things come into the equation with pipe size and initial flow entering the exhaust system which will optimize the amount of power...
I do like the look of those better but just a few things turned me away and to the mx4. Bunch of reviews said the top scratches easily and the back section only opens and locks at an upright position while the mx4 can lean against the back of the truck(on the rubber blocks) and lock down in...
They also come with the shock cap ends. Other than that everything that was listed above. Personally I'd save the money and go with the stock setup that the trucks been riding on. Only take a few extra minutes to disassemble and put on the new shocks.
Looking to add some growl to my 19 Laramie. Is full exhaust system the way to go or is replacing the muffler and deleting the resonators the way to go when looking at the price difference?
I ended up going with the Bak mx4. Hit the points that I was looking for. Got it shipped for $784. Only thing I'm disappointed in is not having a bed light but I can get that done for pretty cheap after it's installed.
It's actually much tighter now and allows you to feel the road a bit more so to speak but not in a bad way. Doesn't ruin the ride quality, makes it better in my opinion. Less lofted bounce feeling on bumps. I feel more in control now. I went with the 5 setting. Seemed to put me at almost...
Glad I ran across your post. I've been trying to decide between 285/60r20 and 285/65r20. Same tire. Definitely think I'm going with the 285/60's. I have the Bilstein' installed on the front so I shouldn't have any rubbing at all
