Found the cable and it doesn't activate CarPlay at all. Tried both ports, flipped it multiple times, no luck. It only charges the phone.
The issue is definitely with the phone, i'm just going to order one of those wireless CarPlay adapters.
This is what I get for being impatient and immediately...
I tried the new cable that came with the phone and a new thunderbolt 4 cable that I bought new as well.
They both have the same issues.
Im thinking the issue is with the phone. I just really hope its a software issue and not a hardware issue with the phone.
There is a local company near me that makes custom carbon fiber parts and i've been thinking about taking my vents to them to make carbon fiber replacements.

There is a guy on the TRX forums that made a TRX specific kit. It was an actual replacement kit instead of stick ons but the price tag was about 5-6k o_O
Ditto.
Someone on the forums put a camera under their truck to see if maybe they could see what was going on when they started it.
It turns out it was the driveshaft moving when the truck starts.
I was having the same issue, then I started letting go of the brake when I started the truck...
Did some more hauling last night. We think someone vandalized my brothers '79 Caprice. The brake line looked pinched like someone tried to cut it with dull wire cutters:mad:
My Rebel had no issues pulling this old gal back home though.
It looked like it was staring into my soul with the...
