I have etorque, but those temps match what I typically see. When driving at highway speeds I'll typically ride around 204 or 205 for coolant temp. And around 217 to 219 depending on speed. If i'm crusing at 80mph for a while I can see my oil temp rise to 222 or so, but usually it hangs around...
I have the S type and no stock resonators. It was definitely louder than any videos made it seem. Mostly because videos just can't convey how loud things are without comparison.
But for me I like it. Was first leaning Touring then went up to the S type as I wanted it to be loud, but not as...
At times I notice mine stay in eco more than other times. For me it comes down to whether i've been driving a bit slower than usual, letting the truck shift at earlier rpms, etc. Do that a few days and I'll notice the truck wants to consistently shift early and go into eco quicker, and stay...
Yep. And ridge grapplers tend to measure out wider than most other 12.5" wide tires i've found. I had 35x12.5 ridge grapplers measure out to over 13" once mounted and on the truck.
I have 295/65R20s with a level and no rub. Yokohama Geolandar MT"s, measure out pretty narrow at around 11.8ish...
I've heard the GT in person and to me it sounds closer to an S Type tone wise. It doesn't have the same volume that the S type has but it's tone is pretty similar.
Between S type and Atak you won't really find much difference in loudness. Both are "loud" but not unbearably so. Just the S type is more of a deep "truck" type tone while the Atak has more rasp to it.
I went with S Type but got used to the volume fairly quickly. Then started wishing I went...
In the past I had a truck with Bilstein 6112 shocks in the rear. Also had reservoir but no adjustment, and they too were very quick to rebound when highway driving. I wouldn't say stiff, but it's more like they just couldn't perform well with my bed unloaded. As if hitting potholes or slight...
I do mostly highway driving for work and with a Lonestar 4x4 with 3.21 gears I can average about 17.5 to 18mpg. This is with 35"s and a level, and also if I don't include remote starting.
I have etorque so I actually let it start/stop and with how long some red lights are, it does help. Also, I...
I have a 2021 Lonestar 4x4 (not ORG) that had a little more than 2.75" of rake when stock. So I chose to go with a 2.5" leveling spacer (motofab). I'm left with about a quarter inch of rake now, so it's pretty dead level.
Nothing wrong with the 2.5" kit so long as you had more than 2.5" of rake...
I've never had that problem but I have noticed a clear difference between good and bad gas. I put 89 and occasionally put 91 when I'm at an unfamiliar gas station. But if ever I put 87 my engine is noticeably noisier and just doesn't have the same umph I guess on cold starts.
Just letting my...
Yeah I think only certain vehicles look correct with big negative offset wheels. Truck is currently in the shop waiting on new catalytic converters as I got jacked a few days ago lol.
Here is a screen grab I have from a totally legal and educational video I made on... tire wear. Can kinda see...
I had mine recalibrated by a dealership and it didn't affect any parking sensors. Was $50 I believe, and speed matches GPS nearly perfectly. Shift points are much improved too from before I had it recalibrated for the larger tire.
I had about 2.75" of rake so the 2.5" level worked out well.
Yeah, no spacers so the tires fit pretty flush with the sides. Looking at the truck straight on you can't see the tires protrude any. The truck looks and feels taller in person compared to how it looks in pictures. Between tires and...
Hm yeah that isn't a bad idea. I have a Borla S Type now but I hate to just buy and install more cats if they'll just get cut again. The mopar cat assembly alone is $6800 they're saying, and that doesn't include the lack of core despot from the one cat missing..
Appreciate the responses. Driving it I do have the check engine light but it doesn't seem to affect anything. Feel the backpressure issue but overall it's just noisy and smell of exhaust from outside.
As of right now insurance is covering it, but there are none in stock and a minimum of a week...
So I'm out of town for a work even and woke up to the obvious sounds of a stolen catalytic converter on my truck..
They stole the driver side only, and ripped off the O2 sensor that mounts directly into the cat itself. The o2 sensor before it is still there. Guess they're pretty experienced at...
What tires do you have? I did have the thin liner on my passenger side rub but it was curled outward from what I assumed was engine heat. Snipped a small 1 inch triangle piece off and that fixed it.
Most likely it will fit. I have a lonestar with 2.5" level up front and I fit 295/65R20 easily. Height of the tire wasn't an issue at all. I was close when it came to the width, but with the level moving the wheel down out of the wheel well, it put the widest part of my tire at the widest part...
