Engine was supposed to be at dealership Monday 11/2. I emailed Service Manager this morning for progress update, and was told he has no engine,, no tracking and no ETA.
I've owned the truck for 5 weeks and its been at dealer for 2 1/2 weeks.
I have initiated a claim with RAM Customer Cares and...
Thanks nburd!
I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee to use. Its only the E version so its the strippy model. However- I am very impressed with it and would consider dumping the wifes 2016 Pilot for one. It rides and handles very well with no wallowiness in suspension.
As for my truck- it will be 2 weeks...
I understand your frustration - I'm dealing with FCA and dealer now, but I only have one issue. I'm on my 2nd week of driving a free loaner. Other than parts availability- most of the problem is the dealers themselves. So far my dealer has been ok.
Chris
What bill-e wrote a couple of postings back reminded me of my first set of AT's on my 99.5 Pathfinder. The Pathfinder was my first 4WD vehicle and bought around Thanksgiving. The tires were not the greatest on, and we had a huge snowstorm coming in Christmas Eve and Day. I live 3 miles all...
I had Wrangler Adventure Kevlars on my Colorado Z71. TBH they reinforced my decision to never own another set of Goodyears again. That being said, and the be completely honest- they were the OEM version as stockers on the Colorado. There is a difference between OEM Stock and replacement from the...
That Double Cab Elevation a couple of posts back is what I was intent on buying. I wanted the Elevation model with X31 suspension, the Value package with buckets, the preferred package with Bose and Sirius XM. By the time I had $$$ in hand I could no longer find one with those requirements. I...
So I renamed the Thread Title-
The truck died on me yesterday and needed to be towed off the interstate. Mileage is now at 873. Was driving in very early yesterday and truck went into limp mode. I also got a message in the cluster that Active Tuned Module was either not ready, or not available-...
I was really torn whether to go with the black versions or the stainless, as I heard that generically the black one do not last as long before rusting. I really wanted to go with the blacks as well, because I want to find the Black Night Rims too. I guess in the end longevity won out - even if...
The picture they had showing was horribble the rear bracket assembly, and the L Shaped bracket adapter showed only hardware, and not where or how it actually attached, and the sorry excuse for showing mounted was too pixelated. It wasn't until I watched a youtube vid that I was able to see it...
I was going to get the black steps, as I ultimately want the black Night wheels...I'm not a big fan of the Chrome one at all.
I have a chance to get built to serve rims only for 500, I may grab them for a set of AT tires for winter.
Chris
I spent most of Saturday installing Westin wheel2wheel Pro Traxx 5 nerfs. The last time I installed a set was end of December on my Colorado, and they were easy compared to these things.
The complexity of adding the wheel2wheel length and its 4th bracket was nuts. The ID'ing of parts was...
So here it is Tuesday, and I have my truck back. We have zero idea of what happened or what the noise was. My selling dealers service manager did contact the local service writer and she verified for him the noises she heard, and what her guys did to determine their thoughts.
For 4 days- the...
As I said earlier- the dealer was not going to touch it. They had time to take a quick peek at it, but it would have sat until they had the time to pull the pan anyway. Once the truck was shut off and parked, there was no more noise.
Chris
With the dealer not hearing any noise- I can't blame them for not pulling the pan. They've since started it 4 times with no noise, hell even I started it after a few hours of sitting to move it for flatbed, and I got no noise!
There was no vibrations and no loss of drivability when I drove it...
If you go the the dealers website listing(on dealer site) for the truck, they typically show all the apply for EVERYBODY, they may show their discount as well. They may also show all other potential rebates that apply based on VIN or type. There might also be a clickable question mark after each...
