Thank the lord I'm not the only one to hear this! It seems to be when it's cold when mine does it. Drives me nuts! The truck is completely silent otherwise, so it makes it that much worse lol
As long as she starts it and moves it around the block a few times a month, I'd say you're going to be okay. Maybe get a solar maintainer for the battery, but that's not a huge deal. Good luck on whatever you have going on!
Mine starts from about 1000 feet when I walk out of my building. It's a straight shot. For a bit there it seemed to require me to be closer, but that has since stopped.
Glad you saw the thread to check that location. Honestly, that's an easy fix and they know about it. But I understand your concern. I didn't see the thread about the leaks until after I bought my truck. Heartbreaking.

Your dealership could get that for you. I haven't had much luck looking for parts manuals on the web. I'm trying to identify a part on my frame that looks to be a motor, but has nothing connected to it. Dealer said to bring it in for them to identify the part and part number.
