    Bilstein 5100

Sounds normal. I'll be you'll be pretty close to "level" with a full tank and you in the driver's seat.

    Poor gas mileage

Just filled up at Costco (91 octane) this morning for $4.69/gal. The pump shut off at $100 and I got a smidge over 21 gallons in and still not full. Wasn't in the mood for a second swipe as I've got enough to get me into next week.

    Let’s see your coffee mug!

What a coincidence. I looked at the gas pump when I filled up today ($4.69/gal) and immediately wanted to move to "snow country". 😁

What did you do to your Ram today???

The back windows are around 20% (17% maybe?) from the factory so most likely 20% on the front windows.

    Bilstein 5100

How much fuel is in your tank? 1/2" isn't much considering the fuel tank and driver are on the driver's side. Depending on the weight of the driver and size of the tank that's quite a weight swing from empty tank and no driver to filling up and getting in to drive. If that 1/2" is bothering...

2023 - No Hemi - Are you buying now or waiting for the new engine?

It would depend on the programming. For the high horsepower version (500+ Hp) definitely. Ford says my wife's Ranger EcoBoost can run on 87 octane so it all depends on what the manufacturer decides is best for their vehicle. When I had a turbo car (eons ago) I only put 91 octane in it. More...

@Edmontonram was nice enough to share the files with me also. @WhiteKnight4x4 no need to try and install the software. Unfortunately, It is not compatible with our trucks. While the TSB is for North American 8.4" NAV trucks (both north and south of the border) his software update is only for...

    Invisible Glass

I used Invisible Glass until I found Sprayway many, many, many moons ago and never looked back. I got my wife hooked on Sprayway too and she doesn't use anything else. Newspaper does work but it's messy (ink on your hands) and annoying to work with as you have to take the newspaper apart to use...

    Lengthy repairs and loaner cars

Shouldn't be an issue as long as they machine the surfaces when they re-install the heads. I had leaks on my last truck (diesel) that put coolant in the oil (failed oil cooler seal) and another one that put fuel in the coolant (failed fuel injector cups). Repaired them both with no issues. As...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

I thought it was hilarious too, same as KWKSLVR. People are too sensitive about everything so it's nice to have some fun and enjoy the humor. Even if it's at my expense a good joke is a good joke. I'm a Gen X'er so can differentiate between humor/fun and a personal attack. People used to...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

It's the short man syndrome. Just because you guys have "shorter" gears is no reason to always be so angry and combative. 😁

    A/C Performance

Haven't done a "service form" but have it on the invoices: First 3 visits (pre-TSB): told the A/C was normal. I brought in the TSB with the sections highlighted on symptoms and how to bill FCA and: 4th visit: passed "cooldown test". I opened a case with corporate and they (weeks later) agreed...

An Engineer's Ultimate Guide To 3.21 VS 3.92 Axle Ratio

It doesn't take much to add beef to a diesel. Mine was pre-emissions but all you've got to do is chip/program it and you're off to the races. Granted you've got to beef up the drivetrain if you want it to last but a lot of kids don't care. For mine you could add about 40 Hp with just a chip...

    A/C Performance

I've already complained about the A/C 6 times with this dealership...3 times with TSB in hand...2 times with RAMCares/Corporate Engineering involvement. All 6 times was "no" just wrapped in a different explanation. There's only 1 other dealership I'd go to, which is furthest away from me in the...
