Please recommend 20” All-terrain favorites - the Duelers are awful!

If you decide to stick to SL/XL/C-rated tires your options will be limited. If you bump up to E-rated tires your selection increases exponentially. E-rated tires are going to be 10+ lbs heavier too so take that additional rotational inertia into account (and the added price) when shopping around.

Anyone ACTUALLY running 5w-30 or even 10w-30? Thoughts? Experience? Any REAL TRUTH to throwing a code running higher weight oil (no conjecture please)

The extra moly helps the tick. I went to 5w-30 for one oil change and didn't notice any difference in MPG, tick, etc. I'll stick with my PUP 5w-20 since I've got a MOPAR ESP through 2026. If the tick starts to become pronounced (more than a few seconds on cold startup) then I'll shell out the...

How do you like the Bed Step?

I wasn't sure about the bed step when I first got the truck (never had one before) but I can't imaging not having one. I use it all the time. Took me a bit to figure out to push/lift with the top of my foot to put the step back in. I agree with the OEM step. Much better than aftermarket ones...

Disable MDS AND Auto Start-Stop at once on 2022 1500 Limited

You cannot change any settings with MDS or Auto Start/Stop with AlfaOBD. The only way to "disable" MDS without aftermarket means is to select "8" on the gear limit (buttons in the lower right of the steering wheel) or select Tow/Haul.

Issue with music from USB stick

What size is your thumb drive? IIRC the max that uConnect 4 supports is 64GB.

    Break in period recommendations

I followed the Owner's Manual recommendations that asgadf/lkjnadsfg posted. I use quality products (Pennzoil Ultra Platinum full synthetic oil, Mobil 1 oil filter, and Wix engine air filter) and change the oil at (or just before) 10K miles. There's lots of facts, opinions, and recommendations...

    Key Fobs and LED interference

I had the original LasFit LED bulbs with no problem but had 2 of the die on me in just over a year (in addition to a couple in the cab). I was going to switch but to keep the same hue of the lights in the cab (everything else was LasFit) I went with more LasFit bulbs to replace the burnt out...

What does everyone do for a living?

I have a friend that's retired and he tells me that he now has 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every week. ;) Enjoy the fruits from all those years of labor! (y)

    Rear window surround crack.

I bought some EPDM weather stripping material and replaced junk foam one that it came with. Cost me about $10 and have not had an issue.

    Key Fobs and LED interference

These are aftermarket LEDs. The DT 1500 did not get LED cargo lights until 2022 MY. 2019-2021 trucks came with incandescent bulbs in the CHSML (cargo and brake lights).

    2022 Toyota Tundra

A light bar to underline the brand name on the grill 😲??!!? It can't be much more than that if it can be used on-road and meet the maximum light output limitations with the low beams. Talk about excess...and more stuff to power, wire, and break. Listening to that guy makes me want to not buy...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

Even though I had a slew of issues with my RAM nothing was earth-shattering or required a tow. It's a 2019 and is the first year of a new generation so I knew I was in for some choppy seas. I would have waited except my truck was totaled and I had 2 weeks to get my next vehicle so I rolled the...

    Uconnect Experience Feedback

I'm exactly the same way. The only time I've "talked" to my truck is to change to specific SXM channel - and I've only done that a handful of times in 2 1/2 years.

8.4 UConnect vs. UConnect with Nav Question

It seems like RAM and SXM keep changing the names of bundles and packages to keep you guessing. That's probably to hide the fact that you are getting less for "no cost difference". The free trials have gotten shorter too. I got 12 months of SXM and Guardian, and 5 years for traffic...

8.4 UConnect vs. UConnect with Nav Question

All of that is part of SXM Guardian, which is a paid service: https://www.driveuconnect.com/sirius-xm-guardian.html I'm not sure if you can put it on your non-nav unit. You would have to call Sirius XM to find out (if someone doesn't chime in).

    ORP Ride different?

I didn't notice much of a difference when I was test driving trucks. It rides very similar to my dad's Limited (air suspension and 20" wheels) but mine's a little softer than his. As MikeyHo808 said, it's a comfortable ride. My ORG truck (with AT tires) rides w-a-a-y smoother than my wife's...

8.4 UConnect vs. UConnect with Nav Question

I don't know about the '22s but mine also has HD radio compared to the non-nav unit.

    Uconnect Experience Feedback

I agree with both. My wife's Sync may be less glitchy but I absolutely hate the interface. My uConnect is so much more user-friendly than her Sync. The only thing that her Sync has is 18 SXM presets to my 12 but it changes the channel to the last one you listened to on each page of 6 that you...
