If there's a slow car in front of you, what is the alternative other than slowing down? Rear-ending them (like standard cruise control would)? lol
As for the distance, it keeps you a safe distance away from the vehicle in front of you for a reason (you need more space to stop a huge/heavy truck...
I'd go with the MFT and skip the RamBox. The RamBox lids warp (cosmetic issue), they eat into the truck bed space, and for short-term storage (something you're going to be taking back out the same day) they're on the side of the truck so why not just throw it in the back seat floor (fold up the...
Old 4WD vehicles you had to be careful and follow the directions to not break stuff. This truck is supposedly smart enough and won't let you do anything that would cause damage.
If you want to keep it simple leave it in 2WD until you hit bad weather (rain/snow/etc.), then throw it in 4WD Auto...

I'm a bit disappointed with it. I was hoping the other brands might be able to 1-up Ram (which would encourage Ram to do even better next revision, customer wins) but it's not that great IMO. Much better than the current F150...
At first it sounded like they were just being lazy but unless I'm misunderstanding, it sounds like the dealership is trying to fleece customers for stuff that should be covered under warranty already (so they get paid by the customer and then by FCA)?
I've noticed mine shocks me sometimes when I go to get out of the truck, lock the door with the interior button, and step on the power running board. I just always assumed it was static.
It's probably not helpful but I've never had any issues (and I mostly use Shell). The only issue I've had is where the pump will kick off over and over unless you make sure to push the nozzle in all the way to the spring thing (reasonably, not jamming/forcing it in there).
The pump nozzles...
You're barking up the wrong tree. I've noticed a lot of people on these forums are pretty dismissive over the MPG for one reason or another. I deal with it because I love everything else about the truck, but it is pretty poor comparatively.
That's 100% city driving. On the interstate doing...
It's not just the load rating, but also the angle that you have to be careful about. Too steep of an angle and you might cause the rail to bend/warp (or rip out altogether). I generally try to use the built-in metal loops and just use the cleats for additional stabilization as needed (although...
I was wondering if I would regret getting a 2019 Ram when I knew Ford would be redesigning the F150 for 2021. I made the right choice.
That redesign is disappointing. It looks like they tried to copy the Ram's interior and failed horribly. The exterior almost seems to have gotten worse (I'll...
I've taken cars through the touchless washes around here, and as soon as I exit the wash I can drag my finger across the surface of the paint and visibly see the line I made in the dirt film still left on the car (black paint). Maybe they just suck around here but I've never had much luck with them.
