I'm probably in the minority here, but I have a monthly plan with a soft-touch carwash. While I'd prefer touchless or just to do it myself, I honestly just no longer have the interest in messing with it. I had a very good ceramic protectant put on it when I bought it, and now I just let it...
Had new:
2009 F150 XLT
2013 F150 XLT
2015 F150 Lariat
2016 Ram 1500 Laramie
2017 F150 Lariat
Now my 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie
This truck is easily my favorite of the bunch. It is the only one I can honestly say I've gone out of my way to "take the long way home" and just go on drives to spend...
Not so much a conditioner...more like a protectant, like this. Wondering if anyone has tried this or something similar. (Of course this one is the cleaner AND protector in a kit.)
WeatherTech TechCre FloorLinner and Floor Mat Cleaner/Protector Kit
I've had several sets of these in past trucks, but I've not yet found the "perfect" cleaner and conditioner for them. As you know, they tend to be a bit slicker than OEM and some other brands. They're very durable and look great when they're clean, but I'd like to find a cleaner that doesn't...
Other then anecdotal stories from this and other forums? I mean, statistically you would think the earlier builds on a new generation would have more issues...that's usually been the prevailing thinking. But I'm curious whether or not there is any empirical evidence to support that. Or do we...
I think that's part of his schtick. That's a very funny video. Love the part about how people who have blacked out Dodge Rams must be rich because you always see them in Longhorn and Target parking lots. :ROFLMAO:
You'll have to tell us even if you can't share pics. And you're right, these are more additions (right up my alley) rather than mods. The only other additions I've made that I haven't already mentioned are my University of Kentucky (UK) front license plate and hitch cover. Go Cats! :)
Interesting. I have 100w equivalent LED bulbs in both openers and there doesn't seem to be any interference. Of course different brands, models, age, etc. My range seems to be just fine, too...about the same as all my F150s were anyway. probably 150 feet or so.
Haha, a little bored, things are kinda slow at work right now. Then I get these random thoughts and the next thing you know, bam...there's a new thread. I normally am not this active but I'm sure things will pick up at work and I'll be quieter, lol. :)
Perfect...thank you! It's odd that they don't provide this information elsewhere in any of the vehicle documentation. Regardless, I really appreciate your finding this out...kudos! (y)
Wanted to specify "RAM" as some of you might be thinking of a different dealer. ;)
Consider:
Purchase value
Trade-in value (if any)
Financing process (if any)
Efficiency of the overall transaction
Customer service and support after the sale
Service department (I know this will be a HUGE...
Update: they called me at 7:30 this morning to tell me the cable (strap) was in and I could bring it in today for installation. In and out in 30 minutes from arrival to departure. All is good, cables appear to be very even in length and tension. Very pleased with the responsiveness and...
Saw this article on cnet today and thought I'd share, in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic. Not advocating any or all of it, but thought it was interesting.
I've seen your pics before and am continually amazed at how sharp it looks. What do you do (or have you done) to the paint/finish to make it look so good?
So I've read a lot about winter fuel mixes. Is there any way to know for sure whether or not a station is using this, what it's true effects are, and when it will change to summer mixes?
