Haha, I have the exact same age kids. Joked with the wife after I showed her the pictures that kids won’t be allowed in it. Will be a chore to keep it clean, but well worth it.
The manager said they are accepting orders for Limited’s with the Anniversary Edition package. I had negotiated a price for a ‘21 and since they ordered it wrong, they agreed to honor the price.
Yea, sometimes it pays to have dumb luck. I am fortunate because the way the market is, I’d being dishing out an additional $10k, at least, if they hadn’t honored their price from February.
It was tough convincing them to honor prices for a ‘22 since they don’t have pricing yet. I think they figured it would be cheaper for them to lose money on 1 truck than have their name drug through the mud by a very unhappy customer.
Dude, same thing happened to me. I ordered in February. For what it’s worth, try contacting the dealer owner/senior manager. I had a sales manager that was a complete tool, questioned why I didn’t catch their error and argued with me whether or not I wanted to actually buy a truck. I lit them up...
Welp, dealer wouldn’t honor their price for a new build to get it right. Wanted me to accept the truck as is with the different interior color. I told them the interior color was the main reason for factory ordering, and since that was wrong, it would have to be a significant markdown, which...
I’ve seen a couple posts and I’m confused on the switch to the ‘22. Has anyone ordered a ‘22? I’ve read pricing isn’t available from other posts, but it also seems like the specs/packages aren’t super clear either. The truck should be delivered next week and I’m not sure I’m going to accept it...
Thanks man and will do. I just don’t want people reading this to think they mess up trucks all the time and then not order one. It seems like this is an isolated incident, that’s what I meant.
I’m in the Midwest. I’ll give them a second chance to fix it before I blast them on here. They did say there is a second confirmation they receive from FCA after the dealer submits it. I assume to prevent this very thing, the dealer I used just didn’t check, I’d ask to see that.
I like the sound of that first one! I understand he wasn’t going to show his hand, but yea, he has no way of knowing how much more off that interior is worth to me. That’s most of the reason why I had to order since it’s not very common.
Dealer verified it is black interior. After they tried to say I didn’t catch the mistake in the confirmation stage either, which I shot that down real quick because all the paperwork and emails I have say indigo/frost, they said the regional office won’t prioritize a new build to get it right...
Window sticker last night, wrong interior color. I’m speechless, after 11.5 weeks..... I double checked the build sheet I got from the dealer when we built and it had the indigo/frost interior on that. I’m holding on that it’s a typo or mistake, but not that optimistic.
