Added some bedside graphics. Kinda strange to me the Rebels didn’t come with this from the factory. Literally every other brand does bedside graphics. Even Ram does them with ORG on some trims.
The three new vehicles I've bought, I always got the "end" of a generation, with the knowledge a new or refreshed model was coming soon. I like to think that after 3-5 years of production, the bugs and kinks would be worked out.
As for the Hemi, it may not be perfect, but the issues are...
Had it done today, since I had to knock off work early for my wife’s doctor appointment. The truck hasn’t exploded yet, and I’ve been running the roads a bit this afternoon.
I received the letter, as well. '23 Rebel 5.7 etorque. Just haven't found the time to swing by the dealer to get it done, but I plan to get it done. Dealer confirmed when I called it'll only take a few minutes.
Saw this in the news recently. I’ve never had an issue with mine, but my truck does fall in the production range. I’ll be curious if I get a letter this fall.
I wouldn’t call 20 minutes without a seatbelt a “short” trip but that’s just me.
I learned to drive in a 1980 C10 that had nothing but seat belts. No power brakes. Two speed wipers. Blinkers didn’t even auto-cancel bc the cancel device broke in the column. As nostalgic as I get for that old...
Bass +6 or +5 if I’m listening to something bass-heavy
Mid +3
Treble 0
Surround sound ON
Speed sensitive volume on 2
YMMV. In my opinion this HK system is great. I had a Genesis Coupe with factory Infinity with 8” subwoofer and this is far superior. My wife’s murano has a factory Bose system...
Successfully updated my 2023 Rebel this afternoon. Took maybe 45 minutes to download the files last night to my computer. Right at 30 minutes to install in the truck this afternoon.
I’m on pace for maybe 5500? My new job is walking distance so I don’t take the truck often. I paid for an extended warranty; I’ll definitely age out before I mileage it out.
I don’t recall seeing that message. If you go to the maps details does it show an updated map date? I know we’ve talked about this before; you and I both love using the built in Nav and I want my maps updated. Just not sure I’m willing to risk bricking it using the downloadable maps online.
After almost exactly six months of ownership. But the bad MPGs don’t bother me. As you can see I don’t put a lot of miles on my vehicle. I took one long road trip in it which skewed the city/highway mix… We normally take my wife’s SUV any long distances. And I recently accepted a job walking...
Headed to Lake Hamilton next week. Going to spend a day at the Hot Springs Off-road park. Anybody been? They have a lot of trails rated 1-2 diamonds which I think my stock Rebel with air suspension will be able to handle. If you've been before, any tips would be great! Not trying to break...
Sorry I missed this. My map is dated March of 2022. I know there's a much newer map, but I'm scared to do it based on 66fuelie's difficulties (digital dash).
FWIW my 2023 built in November/December of 2022 has the March ‘22 map on it as well.
I’ll be following these map threads closely as I’d love to update the TomTom to something more recent as soon as I see someone else with a 2023 UC5 12” and digital dash successfully do it ;)
Seems from reading online that 2024 is another carryover MY with 2025 being the refresh. While I have zero complaints with my 2023, I do find it curious that they’re gonna continue to plug along without a refresh when all the other half tons have been refreshed / redone.
