Agree. We all have been receptive to that fact.
I don't personally buy this. There are folks with VIN 105XXX in D status and they are sending dealer orders in the 164XXXs. There are plenty of sold trucks between 105XXX and 164XXX that would also qualify as production efficient vehicles...
I am probably more patient than most. But, getting frustrated to see local dealers advertising many in-coming 2022 trucks with VINs in the 132000 to 164000 range. While today marks 12 weeks for my order (121826) still sitting in the same D status. Obviously they can't build in exact sequence...
You're probably right. I just struggle as I need my truck by mid November. Turned mine in when I ordered and was told 8-12 weeks....tomorrow is 12 weeks. Heck, I'm good with 16-18 weeks and actually figured that in when I ordered. Now, every day that goes by I'm more doubtful mid November is...
Hmmm. I asked my dealer if any 2022 Rebels were in build status and potentially getting here sooner than my order (Back Country in D status since 7/9). He has one....VIN 1C6SRFLT7NN101237 that he said is pretty far along. I believe they would go 3% under invoice similar to my order. The only...
Guessing they are keeping the new packages turned off on the Canadian site until the US website is ready to launch. I tried every way to configure the Back Country and it's there, it's just not turned on to select.
One addition. The base price did increase by $440 for the Big Horn. My sales guy is checking to see if they eat that or if I do. I'm not too worried either way...I just want my truck.
Still D for me this morning. Ordered on 7/9. He sent me a new POC and my order is still unchanged for the moment. I do wonder though, with Tech Group and Blind Spot on a Big Horn....how far down the line my build may be vs higher trims (based on micro chips).
Sales guy was searching while...
Not for me yet. My dealer checked on 9/1 and said he was going to check again 9/9...when he was told production was starting up again. Of course since 9/1 I think that has changed once more. I'll be following up with him tomorrow. My VIN is 121826
Well, I for one am super happy that I don't have my new 2022 truck!
I literally just watched all of the cars in our parking lot get hammered with these. Mind you in summer rain these were already quite melted vs what actually came down.
Cool. I looked at the AT3 next to the ATP and the ATP have deeper tread and look more aggressive for sure. Still good reviews from a noise standpoint too. Wish I could give a review but it will be a while unfortunately....
Ended up getting the Cooper ATP2's. They look pretty great. I left the blue on since my new truck won't be here for a while and figured I could clean then up at that time. With the discount tire sale it was $785 total installed. Not too bad. Size is 275/60/20
Same thing here. The sales rep I ordered from is 'no longer with the company'. Now the guy they turned me over to doesn't respond to emails. I probably sent him an email every other week and apparently that's too much for him to handle. When I was there for the ordering process, there were...
I was also told 8-12 weeks back on July 9th. Tomorrow marks 8 weeks. Understanding (after I ordered and joined this thread) that 8 or even 12 was never realistic. I will just hope, and maybe even pray a little come late Oct, that I have my truck by the third week in Nov before I leave for...
Talked with dealer today and of course no change to status. They told me they are hearing pretty specifically that 9/1 is the planned date for 1500's. He also said my build has not changed (Bighorn BackCountry with Technology Group & Blind Spot). He also said he doesn't not anticipate it...
I'm likely on my own with this opinion, but I am not a fan of how the factory wheels sit inside of the trim levels with fender flairs. I actually prefer the look of the bighorn fenders and the way factory wheels seem to sit flush. Rebel and TRX are a different story as they obviously have...
I was in the same boat but went the other way to a Bighorn so I could add blind spot. When I looked last week my order had not changed. Hopefully it remains.
I hate being truckless and the wait for production to start but I'm still pretty satisfied based on the trade they gave me. When I...
I know it was available on the Bighorn with Backcountry package. That package includes the night package. However, you'd have to live with the two tone black / patriot blue with the BackCountry.
Okay....similar. on way to CO from WI for elk hunt. 2018 F150 with 20,000 miles dies on freeway at midnight. Broken valve spring. Missed 1.5 days of opening season...until I could pull into camp with the dealers shuttle van. That event is what made me consider Ram.
I had a 2014, 2015 and 2018 F150s (all 5.0). Really like them all.
Key pad - absolutely loved that
Ford pass was lifetime and way nicer than Ram using the Sirius thing
Shifter vs knob - after a year in the Ram still kinda struggle getting totally used to the silly knob
Aluminum F150 just...
