Correct, it doesn’t fold up against the window like a BAK cover. You can remove within seconds since there is a lever that locks it into place to lift it out. It’s aluminum so it’s very light. You don’t need two people to get it out.

Guys, Just got my Lomax cover for my ram yesterday. The install was very easy and the quality is great. It rained last night and it was dry inside. Much better than my old BAK cover which left a lot to be desired.
