Got a pair of the icon coils I am going to install with new bilstein. Reading through instructions to get everything laid out and call me stupid but am confused. Instructions say to jack front of vehicle and support with lack stands. It then skips to disconnecting sway barand track bar bolts...
Anyone in the metro dc area, preferably Maryland have a recommendation for a shop that will do a good job doe a food price on 5100 install with coil top hat?
What wire controls the amber side marker lights if I wanted to tap into those for a relay to add more amber grille lights. Or would it be better to tap into DRL wire? Anyone know color of that?
No not yet. Waiting to buy sway bar and icon rear coils so I can attack the back install all at once. Decided on icon for the extra inch over orp it gives.
That’s my understanding. What I am not clear about in regards to front springs is if any other assembly changes need to be done or if a simple swap can just be made. The rears appear to just allow a simple swap. I have a set of 5100 for front and back and they are sitting in garage as I debate...
It looks like there are about 20 options for rear spring conversions. I found a table on here and then looked at the tag on the ones I currently have. The orp version is $110 a spring. Not sure the real difference between those and the other orp options
