My previous Silverado had the tilt and it was really good. I find the ones on my ram go too far down. Its great for finding a curb but hard to backup with if. I actually shut it off also and I programmed the 2nd memory seat to have the mirrors tilt to where I want them. Just need to hit the...
If I could wait I probably would. Not because I have issues with mine, only to get the latest and greatest. Which sometimes comes with its own problems...
Ya makes sense. My previous diesel was a GM where is would idle for a minute or so prior to high idle. Made me feel a bit better that the rpm was lower for a bit. 😆
For those of you that still have the high idle; does it still come on pretty quick? Personally I'd like if the engine gave itself a bit of time to warm up before going to high idle. Move some oil around a bit first... lol
They don't need to replicate. The BCM stores a log for the failure. They can read it when they plug into it. I went through this exact same pain with my dealer. They finally agreed to plug it and found it failing for low battery voltage.
The dealer put a new battery in my truck finally but I still believe its a programing issue within the remote start system check. Until FCA releases an update this issue will stay.
And when you go to start it manually it starts I assume? To me this means the battery actually has enough charge to still start the truck and the checklist sequence that the remote start completes for a voltage threshold check is set wrong. My $0.02 anyway...
As mentioned prior, I am convinced this is a remote start software issue. The battery threshold for a start vs no start needs to be updated. Until then this issue will continue. The dealer changed my battery too but even after every failed remote start my truck will manually start fine. So the...
I believe this is a simple software issue rather than a battery issue.
My fail log shows low battery voltage is the reason for the no start. But when I start the truck manually it fires up. To me this tells me the system check for battery voltage is too conservative and needs to be adjusted...
