I just cleaned up my max steel (why, I don't know since it's heavy pollen season). It looks different in different lighting and different distances but all these pictures look like accurate representations of the truck in that lighting (at least on my phone).
I've driven in tons of rain with my open diff/elocker and I've yet to have a problem with traction. Do y'all just have garbage tires or am I missing something? 😝
22% below MSRP is why I went with MD. Remember too, there is a difference between the price of a lot vehicle and the price of a custom order. Patience nets you the largest savings. There's a reason they're the #1 Ram Dealer.
I keep my temps set to around 72F all the time. Once the cabin is cooled, my etorque will run a long time and push cool enough air throughout the cabin. With the vented seats, it's a non-issue for me. That said, I have a pretty wide range of temperature tolerance and I'm not a sweaty fat bastard...
I have eTorque. I think that if a stop/go feature is something you're interested in then it's the best implementation of it I've seen in a vehicle so far. I've sat in traffic for 7 or 8 minutes before not moving an inch with the engine off. If it's not something you care about then it probably...
Does this depend on what state you live in? I paid all my taxes after I got home and got the title paperwork in the mail. When I ordered I asked Sandi about it and she just told me, "We can do the Alabama tax for you when you purchase or you can do it when you get home, it's up to you". Aaron...
FWIW the build listed in my signature with a NWTF tag was a little over $2400 for TTL (I'm in Shelby County outside Birmingham city limits). There are not a lot of incentives this month which is definitely disappointing. I'll tell ya this, I hit up every freaking Ram dealership around here and...
It's not about out running increased costs with EPA numbers. I drive mine 40-50 miles a week so a tank of gas can last me roughly two months. I don't want to deal with corn gas breaking down and screwing up the fuel system. I watched my mom recently replace the injectors in her Grand Cherokee...
Have you tried a hard button reset?
From Ram Cares:
Hello to our Ram Brand enthusiasts--
We've been noticing some conversations surrounding potential resets/reboot options for your Uconnect 5 systems and we wanted to make these instructions easily accessible to all of you. While we'll...
I have the 33 gallon tank as well. The one time I saw the low fuel light come on was literally as I pulled into the gas station on the roadtrip home from the dealership. It took about 29.5 gallons and I really squeezed that amount in there.
So I don't know how the eco compares to the Cummins but I know that when it comes to the Cummins it can be less about the maintenance and more about the repairs. I know my buddy, as an example, tells me injectors are $2500 just for the parts, something like 3 fuel filters too and the massive...
From what I can tell, Mark Dodge is selling Big Horns @ $500 under invoice. Realistically, that's probably the best one can hope for but I've never seen a POC on one. A Big Horn probably costs them more than $35K.
So are these cheaper than Mark Dodge trucks sitting on a lot? Meaning older builds built at a lower MSRP? MD typically quotes higher trims around Employee Pricing but on lower trims without many options there just isn't the same wiggle room because they don't have much markup to begin with.
Sounds like you guys are well researched. I only mentioned it because I thought about going the same route but a friend of mine with a 2500HD talked me out of it. He needs/loves his. But the maintenance and emissions delete/tuning stuff he has done has been really expensive. I just don't wanna...
It probably depends on if it's blowing hot or cold. Mine blows heat more on the bottom vents and cold more on the top vents. That said, our temps have been pretty mild and mine sits around 72-74F all the time so it's never blowing hard.
