I got this response once, then it regressed. My dealer never saw it move to D1.

Driving through my local lot today. Very seriously considering pulling the plug. I can’t imagine having a new truck before May at this point.

That’s exactly my thought process as well. If I bail, I would be buying a loaded Big Horn or Laramie for $65k+. If I am patient, I will have a fully loaded Limited for $69k no incentives. This truck would easily pull $80k in my area. It has virtually every option and anything less than that now...

There’s my problem: 9700 other limiteds being built.

I really want to reorder but that just seems like a bigger gamble. I’ve actually considered cancelling and buying a used Limited but would miss out on a lot of things I wanted and would be overpaying by a mile. Not a fun place to be.

This thread is painful if you ordered 12 weeks ago and have nothing to show, while people ordering a week ago are getting D-1. Hard to believe I would have a truck before April at this point. Anyone else scratching their heads on wtf is up with build priority?

I think we ordered the same truck minus the axle. Great combo. I’m in no rush other than driving a beater in the winter.

Anyone else get a cryptic email from Ram recently with your VIN? I ordered in Sep and have had a VIN the whole time. I just got a weird cryptic email saying thanks for my order and here’s my VIN. Does this mean anything? Maybe I’m getting D-1 status?

False alarm. Ram chat regressed the status and dealer says it’s still in scheduling. Big time let down.

Wow I never asked for this. Just emailed my dealer. Let’s hope it’s all ordered like I had expected! Really hope this means I’m in my truck by Feb!

I’ve seen POC term before. What is that? Also I don’t see that I have a window sticker or build sheet yet so I won’t get too excited. What’s my next step? Call the dealer in a week once I have those 2?

So D-1 is a big deal? Or could they slap it with a build date way out in the future or even move it? Curious what everyone else experienced. Thanks for replying.

First time with ‘new’ status from Ram Chat. I was “awaiting parts” but now they are saying “all required materials for your order have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production, it should be entering the build anytime now.” Anyone know what this message means?
