You guys are killing me every time I see another members new truck. Looks great! Good luck and all the best with it. By the way are those wheels 22"? Look really tall.
Found what you may be looking for but I don't know how to copy/quote from another thread so heres where to find the info. Thread:
Re-order(e-torque Hemi standard?) @cs061010
I notice quite a few members are itching for that E-torque. As the owner of a 2017 GC besides my Ram Sport let me offer this up to you. By going with the E-torque I'm sure you're aware that it will come with Stop/Start. Fortunately I found a way to defeat it on my GC because all it did was scare...
Congratulations and all the best. I'm dying inside with envy each time another member gets their truck. Looking forward to your pictures and thoughts on this purchase. Again, all the best!
Here is a rather lenghty response that I'm involved with. Ordered my Rebel QC on March 7th and it made it to ( I ) status on April 27th. It sat there until May 18th when I was informed it had suffered frame damage so they were building me another. This they did as I was issued a new VON and VIN...
As @firecadet613 says crack that roof ( heat rises ) and it will exit more quickly. Try keeping the shade part partially closed so you're not fighting the sun. Also, don't know if your last vehicle had leather seats but they can take longer to cool down. Does your truck come with the perforated...
I'm on my 5th build and have put down $500 on each. Not because I had to but because I wanted to. I like to lock in my deal and get a copy of the Buyers Order with my OTD price.
I'll say it again, if Ram has 22 (I think thats what they said) different wheels for the 1500, those are without a doubt the best looking I've yet to see. All the best, that is a sweet looking machine!
Now, keep in mind as its a sold order to the dealer, you will only be able to track it through them. If you really want this vehicle my suggestion would be to make a deal and get a Buyers Order with an OTD price. You'll want to place a deposit on it. This way when it comes in they can't sell it...
It is (I repeat) NOT normal! On ALL of my builds I required the dealer to place the order in my presence and provide me with the VON so I could enter it on the check I gave as a deposit. Never an issue. Thank you for the tongue in cheek congrats also. I told myself early on to avoid getting in a...
It is NOT normal for your truck not to be in the system instantly once a VON is generated. This means when you call Ram they have to show it on their respective computers if the order was placed in your name. The VIN may take a day or two but thats it. Trust me I'm on my 5th build and know...
It is weird and just isn't right. I would not pay a penny for a Jeep Garage membership when I have a dealer to this for me. If you have a VON number than its in the system. My suspicions are that the dealer did not order it for you but for the dealership. Have them produce a copy of the POC with...
Thanks for your post. Just in case Ram was listening to the critics and considered removing the knob they now have heard from the owners and most likely realize there will be hell to pay if they do remove it.
You don't have to post it. I believe it if you say it was done. This will help some of us isolate a time frame when they stopped accepting orders with the Off Road Pkg. until further notice.
