    Infamous Whistle Noise PLEASE HELP

Are you hearing this whistle only when the vehicle is moving? Despite your fear, this might only be resolvable by the dealer's service folks. If you are hearing this whistle through the vents and it only happens when in the recirculation mode, it could be air leaking past the Recirculation Door...

    Engine Troubles-rough idle

I had similar symptoms last year for a period, then got a P-441. Service tech. found the code was being set by the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor/Recirculation Tube Assembly (52029939AC). After replacement, fine ever since. Best regards, Dusty 2019 Ram 1500 Billet Silver Laramie Quad Cab 2WD, 5.7...

    Rear end bump

That bump you feel when you take your foot off the accelerator could be the rear section of the sliding driveshaft sticking. I had that issue with my 2014 and after greasing the driveshaft the problem went completely away. Best regards, Dusty 2019 Ram 1500 Billet Silver Laramie Quad Cab 2WD...

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

It usually means a supply/demand issue, i.e.: not enough parts in the system. Best regards, Dusty 2019 Ram 1500 Billet Silver Laramie Quad Cab 2WD, 5.7 Hemi, 8HP75, 3.21 axle, 33 gallon fuel tank, factory dual exhaust, 18” wheels. Build date: 03 June 2018. Now at: 053719 miles.

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

You are falsely misrepresenting my position. In the dialog on poor AC performance noted in this thread, a good portion of the discussion has been around the inability of the system to deliver temperatures into the 40s. Those systems were clearly not meeting the service spec. You have falsely...

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

You are avoiding the point. TSB or no TSB, what is the spec? Are you trying to say there's no longer a specification? The fact that the TSB doesn't mention the spec, or to reference the service manual, does not imply that the service manual is no longer relevant to checking AC performance...

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

If the tech. doesn't have a specification, how does he and the service department know an adequately repair has been completed or the vehicle is performing correctly? The TSB does not change or offer a different spec. and doesn't say to ignore the specification in the service manual. In...

TSB #24-001-20 A/C Fix. Has anyone had it done yet? Plus are you happy with the results?

When I checked mine I had three different gauges available to me and all three gave me a different reading. Hopefully they are using a calibrated instrument. But that's really besides the point. Based on what you've described the AC in your vehicle is probably not making the spec. of 45 degrees...

    15k mile fuel injection maintenance

Unless you think you're having any kind of engine performance issues, this service should not be necessary at that mileage. At 50,000 miles, maybe, depending on the type of fuel quality you've subjected the vehicle to. As others have indicated, check the maintenance schedule in your owners...

    Differential or Transmission Clunk

It is probably normal. The transmission in your vehicle must go through a learning process based on your driving style to select the right shift map algorithm. This may take awhile, depending on how many transmissions shifts occurrences during the learn process. Best regards, Dusty 2019 Ram...

    A/C air

Maybe. It depends on whether you have a single zone or dual zone climate system. I'm not very familiar with the HD model standard features, but I believe in the 1500 series the single zone is only found on the Tradesman as standard equipment. If you have your Moroney label, look for the sales...

Anyone attempt the squeaky rear brakes themselves?

A little over a year (19K miles) after taking delivery I started to get the brake moan when backing. At the time my dealer's tech. had already seen a few cases of this. Pads (68412364AB) and rotors (68237065AA) were ordered and later installed. I know there was a revised pad issued but I can't...

19 Ram 1500 ball joint failure

I would first suspect the ball joint was not properly greased, or had no grease when it was made. The rust stains could also indicate the boot on the ball joint failed or was improperly installed allowing water/moisture in. I'm thinking this would be covered under the 3 year/36 month warranty...

    towing issues

I tow a 16 foot double-axle Riesser trailer and a compact tractor (with front loader and flail mower) for a total weight of just under 6900 pounds with my Quad Cab and factory tires. I've not experienced what the OP is experiencing. Besides truck tire pressure, I wonder what the trailer tire...

Fully electric Ram 1500 in 2024

The flaw with the conclusion is the basis on which they contend there's a benefit "on balance." They conflate the generation of power with its delivery and consumption in an electric vehicle, as constituting one thing. As the article states, “A current-model large car with a battery produced and...

Fully electric Ram 1500 in 2024

You have yet to hear me say "we can't do that." What I am trying to impart is exactly what you've stated, is that many full electrification vehicle advocates seem to think that all you have to do is plug it into the wall outlet, that there are no costs or downsides. Sure it can be done, but it...

Fully electric Ram 1500 in 2024

The so-called 'green energy' proved not to be very reliable for some Texas communities during the last big storm a year ago. Current green energy strategies are too dependent on the weather. Fully electric Ram 1500 in 2024

The fact that the current national grid system cannot handle the demand of a significant increase in power consumption is not an assumption, and that is just part of the equation. There currently isn't enough power generation available to produce the so-called forecasted demand of a fully...

Fully electric Ram 1500 in 2024

I think the generation of energy from any fossil fuel is going to be problematic for 'environmentalists'. (Greenhouse emissions aside, there really no such thing as a "zero" emissions energy source.) As far as I know the emission standards for stationary power systems, regardless how small...
