I wish there was a way to disable the tailgate lock. I don't worry about someone stealing my tailgate, and there are way too many times that I walk out to my truck to grab something out of the bed without the fob in my pocket, and can't open the damn tailgate because the doors are locked.
I used a butane torch and just heated up the studs a little too burn the paint off them. Then took a small wire brush to them and the remnants just brushed right off. The nuts threaded right on with no problems.
Just installed my Gatorback flaps on my truck. Definitely not a 5 min per mud flap job like they said it is. But, I figured it wouldn't be with my bigger tires and my anal retentive tendencies about my vehicles. They look great. Hoping I can get a few pics of the truck tomorrow with my new steps...
I just ordered the husky liner brand under seat storage box for my crew cab. Hoping to get it in a couple days. Seems about the only option. Really sucks nobody makes anything for you quad cab guys.
I have my 295/60-20 AT3W at 38 all the way around. I would lower it a little more because they are 10 ply, but my damn tpms light comes on and says to inflate them to 38...
295/60's on mine. Love them. They are stiffer than the stock 275/65-18 at3w that my off road came with, but it rides and drives nice. This tread pattern is awesome compared to the stock version.
Thanks guys! I know it looks level, but it does have almost a solid inch of rake still. I really like the stance. I did machine some 1/4" spacers and added them to the Readylift spacers. I did the math and the 1/4" spacers add just shy 1/2" of lift. So it's basically got 2.5" level kit.
No. It's just a spacer on top of the strut. It doesn't change anything with the spring or shock/strut. It just makes the assembly longer, therefore making the truck taller. The stiffer tires will effect the ride more than the leveling kit.
It's hard to see in the pic, but it still has about 1"...
