I think you're overthinking the situation. If you want to be cautious, put some hi temp silicone over the holes and experiment to see if you can notice any moisture pooling inside the resonator. If you don't like it, just remove it or drill them back out.
Just my 2 cents
I ended up going with the bags that the accessories partners website recommends with the drop springs. For those on the fence about ride quality, I literally can't feel a difference. I'm anal about ride quality and was fully prepared to go back to the stock springs if I wasn't 100% satisfied.
Officially been a month with the new truck and I couldn't be any happier. I'm loving everything about it. So far, I've rebadged (black), debadged, tinted, 2" rear drop, straight piped the gigantic factory muffler, and added OEM 22's. Got her all cleaned up this morning for the nice weekend. Once...
Off topic I know, but how do you like the Mopar Ram Air? Equipping my truck with this is one of the few things left to do with the truck before I'd consider myself being done throwing money at it. Hahaha
None of these "throttle controllers" are actually making the truck faster, right? They just change the rate of input from the pedal to make what would have been like pushing the pedal almost to the floor equal to a minimal push.....right? I hope that made sense.
I always assumed that the fold out shelf in my 2017 Ram was just to proved a flat surface for larger items. Our trucks inherently have flat floors so I don't really see a need for this fold out shelf now. Missing the storage up under the seat really sucks, but I don't miss the fold out shelf at all.
Wouldn't you need all of the other ancillary equipment and have your truck programmed to enable this.....on top of paying 3+ grand on the katskinz? Seems a little excessive, no?
My apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I'm curious to know what the 1/4 mile difference would be in similar equipped trucks with one having the 3.21 gearing vs the 3.91?
