Is there an advantage to ordering sooner vs. just 36k warranty expires? (Besides the aforementioned price increase)
Edit: I see price increases after 1yr/12k. What’s the justification here? You’re only paying for the post factory period essentially?
I know not the point of this thread but saw at least a couple people say they pay their credit card off everyday. That’s crazy.
Why? There’s no benefit. CC companies only report your statement balance to credit agencies. As long as you pay off full balance on your due date, you’re good. Maybe...
Note: Part numbers are technically different 2020 vs. 2021. Whether the harnesses are actually different, I don’t know.
The parts I listed are for 2021. Would suggest using one of the parts sites that provides full descriptions to confirm the correct numbers for 2020. Then order from wherever...
When I bought this time last year it was 0% for 72mos and $2,750 in rebates or $4k in rebates and qualified financing.
I knew 0% was an option but finance manager was insistent it was not possible despite me asking multiple times. I did not escalate and walked away with $4k rebates and 3.5%...
Simple. Because I wanted a green BTS edition.
Had a new gen Sierra SLE double cab. Got an exceptional deal on it. It was fine; wife mainly drove it. Wished it had more features. But we didn’t love the color (Satin Steel) as much as we did when we bought it on that cloudy day. And I don’t like...
Yes the four left harness are:
852 - No bed lights, no Ram Box
851 - Bed lighting w/o Ram Box
850 - Bed lighting + Ram Box
853 - Ram Box w/o bed lights
A heads up to those that might stumble upon this like I did...you might already have this.
I have a 2021 BH with Level 2 and read this post and decided I had to have it. Assumed I needed it because I don't have power tailgate. Ordered one on Amazon, went to install, and lo and behold, my...
Sounds like you’re setting yourself up for a lot of disappointment.
Always suggest using a credit card for everything online. It’s not your money if you run into issues. Fraud claims are a hassle regardless; even more annoying when you’re trying to recoup money debited from your bank account.
FYI to others, there may be another applicable setting here but I can’t confirm if it’s mandatory. I was messing with this tonight because although I have BH Level 2 package I don’t recall ever seeing the flashing indicator on the dash.
For me, all but the last setting were already configured...
Bringing this up from the depths....
Have a pulse on a well-priced new take off bed step, but the part number is 82215289AD which I know has now been superseded; new part #AH.
Does anyone know or is there anyway to confirm if there were any design changes between the two? Don't want to pull...
Is there any way to get a discernable list of your config other than going one by one and hitting start to see current setting? The config file is just a bunch of letters and numbers.
Good luck to those pursuing these! When I got mine, it was a chore. Dealers were pricing at MSRP or even higher and this was before that was commonplace. And when I called around, a lot of the trucks in transit were already accounted for.
Finally found one at a volume dealer who was willing to...
Update: The same way turning off Sig lights did not disable them at night, Sig Dropout feature does not work at night either.
I did not test whether Sig dropout affects daytime function as I turned them off and enabled turn signal DRLs instead.
Just so those are aware, as this came as a surprise to me. Turning off accent/signature lighting only applies to daytime driving. At night the brows still come on with your low beams.
Also, while I have not confirmed it works (I'll mess with it tomorrow), it looks like there's an option to...
