To expand on what bill-e just said, if the fob is in your pocket and you grab the tailgate handle it will open, locked or not. Lock the truck, remove the fob from the vicinity, and go back without the fob and try the handle again. If it still opens, then yes you have a problem. But I'll bet it...

If you have the stardard bulb tail lights, maybe. Lots of people with the LED tail lights have complained the reverse lights are not bright enough and there is no bulb to change so add-on lights are the only option for them to get more light.

If you're just over 36k Stellantis may be willing to do it as a 'goodwill' warranty repair since you obviously spent quite a lot on the truck and you're way short of the 3 year mark. Doesn't hurt to ask anyway. @RamCares

^^What they said. The fog lights act as cornering lamps when turning (if they're off). Left side is working as intended. Right side seems to be broken.

Yep. Accent strips or the DRL is turned on would be my guess too. (or if you've got a Canadian truck the DRL can't be turned off without AlfaOBD or a Tazer)
