Long time since I last posted about this - got the side rails & rotopax fuel cans mounted a while ago & a few weeks ago I added some auxiliary lighting to the racks - see signature for details.

I have them wired in to my sPod for an easy setup at the moment, plan to tap them in to my DRLs at some point.

I don‘t have an older Ram but I do have my 2021 Laramie work truck next to my 2019 Rebel.

I just installed 2 of these today in my 2021 Laramie work truck, one on each side for myself & coworker. Very easy & clean install, seem pretty good but haven’t had a chance test them out on the road yet...

I went with the Go Rhino DSS, they are a bit narrow to fully function as a step but I prefer the look.

I’m interested for my 2019 Rebel - front & side panels. Mounting on utility rails so you could tilt them up over wheel arch & slide them in/out as a unit & maybe clip onto load anchor points at bottom ?

Nope, no tailgate assist. Even without the steps, it’s still way heavier than my Rebel’s.

I I hauled the “ladder” out of my work F150 a few weeks ago - couldn’t face lifting 40lbs of tailgate multiple times a day any more. Biggest/heaviest waste of time ever in my opinion ! It’s lying in my garage waiting for me to find time to put it on Craigslist.

Love the look of it, haven’t used it as a rack yet. Got the side rails last week so that I can mount my rotopax fuel/water cans & maybe eventually some maxtrax. Might get the rails on at the weekend. Will hopefully find time to load the kayaks on over the next couple of weekends. Will take a...
