That’s my question too. My truck is at the dealership now having the dash replaced. But when I get it back I’m going to try and put the stock links back on and see if I can raise the front and rear end to level it and give it a one inch lift above the off road normal height. Anybody done this...
Well that’s disheartening. Hopefully there are no issues and it at least lasts a few years. One last question, when you got yours replaced did the new dash have the accent lighting that runs along the glove box and under the gauges and all that? I heard that they removed that in later years. My...
Has anybody gotten their dash replaced? How long did it take? Any rattling issues? Everything fit correctly? Any issues after completed?
I’m having mine done at the RAM dealership through CarMax’s warranty. So no cost to me. I’m having them do the air conditioning TSB while they’re in there too.
Hi, I was wondering if anybody has the steps or knows exactly where in Alfa you go to set the height of each airbag?
I have DayStar spacers and links from AirLinks Suspension. I was able to get the truck level on 35s at 41” from ground to fender. But the links are as short as I can possibly...
But yours does go back to the last input sometimes?
I updated to the Las test software 39.9 I believe. It does not to appear to have fixed my issue.
Does anyone else have this issue? Maybe I’m misremembering how my old truck worked. Maybe it’s always been this way.
Does this require a special type of thumb drive or something? I’ve followed the instructions, tried all different types of formatting. Both latest versions of firmware files. Copied the VP4_Update folder directly, the actual files inside it. Every combination I can think of and the truck does...
That’s exactly what I’m talking about. My old 19 Laramie with an 8.4 screen reverted back to the original source, as it should. My new truck does not. It will stay on CarPlay with dead air. I have to manually put it back on the radio. Or whatever other source I was listening to.
So not quite sure how to explain this. But I used to have a 2019 with an 8.4 screen. If I was listening to the radio and navigation from CarPlay or Siri or anything happened Uconnect would switch to CarPlay play whatever was coming through and then switch back for the radio, FM or whatever I was...
One of the two in the back will work for CarPlay. One is charging and one is for data/charging. I don’t remember which is which. I used to use my wireless CarPlay dongle in it. However after a uconnect software update it ceased to function. Still charges but no data. Now only the front two will...
Exactly. I did put silicone on the back side of the holes. A pretty good amount before I placed the light on the frame. Screwed it in. Put more silicone in the holes. Called it a day.
I had good luck this whole time until coincidentally I was washing my truck before I saw this reply and I saw...
Mine has also not given me any key fob issues. I did have condensation on both units I bought. But since I siliconed the screw holes I haven’t had any problems. It’s a real pain but works now so I’ll just leave everything alone.
