Just went out and tried it again and it opened first try. Tried it a few more times and it was working. It was pretty hot here today so maybe like @Helzcat said, it could have been the heat because it probably cooled down a few degrees between my first post and now. Weird. Thanks for the input...
As I stated above, I did have the fob on me and I tried unlocking with the fob and everything. Yes I do have passive entry. I've had the truck almost a year and definitely know how to unlock the tailgate lol. Funny thing is I just went out again and it opened first try and several tries after...
Went to go open my tailgate and it just makes a sound like its actuating but it wont release. Tried unlocking from fob, no go. Anybody seen this one before or is this a new one? Kind of wish it just had a regular mechanical release like the old tailgate now....
Yup. I have this. Only does it a couple times a month or so though. Dealer couldn't replicate of course but I think it might be a glitch in the active noise cancellation but have never considered the HVAC...hmmm
Has anyone experienced noise ie: clicks/ticks from the centre stack/radio bezel surround before? I have some really annoying ones when I hit small bumps (sometimes no bumps) in the road. I was thinking of pulling it off and putting 1/16" foam tape between all the contact points. Any insight?
Just went outside and did the foam wedged in the headliner "fix". Hopefully it works. Also noticed where I was getting the worst noise on the passenger side, the velcro clips weren't even attached. The headliner was just hanging there which could definitely explain the noise lol. Fingers...
Can you give me some more info/instructions on how you pulled down the headliner and padded the clips? I'm sure mine is doing this and I'd love to fix it! TIA
I dont know I might take that award lol. Ya it sucks but I've managed to take care of a few myself and wont give up until they're all gone. Almost enough to make me hate the truck but for some reason still love it and I'm stuck with it now soooooo....lol
Has anybody seen this where the little line under the speedometer readout disappears sometimes and randomly comes back? Not a huge issue but figured @RamCares would like to document. See pics below of the line there in one photo and not in the other.
Yes I've had the clank or clunk sound intermittently on startups since new. Dealer couldn't replicate (surprise) but I think it might be a starter issue? Maybe @RamCacould look into this issue as well.
Yup. That's the part number. Just ran into this same problem when I went to install the RC kit and realized I have the one piece. Picked up the mesh one and it looks like everything should work now. Haven't had a chance to install yet.
