eTorque can't do anything about the sound. eTorque has everything to do with not being able to feel the transitions in and out of MDS. I don't hear the truck going into MDS but can hear a little burble from the exhaust going out of MDS. That's if the radio is off and I'm listening for it...

eTorque is how you don't notice it.

There is discussion regarding the rear diff heat exchanger. I recall that it's not only significant to 2WD, but there's something specific to the build like rear axle ratio. I would imagine that it's a pretty unique configuration to this forum. I'd be more concerned about any interference...

I highly doubt it. Mine do the same and they don't hit. I originally thought they did, but if you roll the windows down and up you'll see that they aren't touching or dragging on the windows. The mirrors move like that when they hit the stops, not the windows.

When you have to wait a month to get your front sway bar end links or sunroof shade parts, this goes way beyond just being a drivetrain issue. I paid for eTorque as an option and I like the system. YMMV.

Seems like every part is constrained. They're likely putting everything into new builds since they're selling so many of these trucks.

Drop it to EE with the fob. When it's in EE, then remote start the truck. Then hop in and start driving. Let us know if it goes to Normal.

Yeah, give it some time. My MPG improved at around 5K which is also when I had my first full synthetic oil change. Winter formulation gas is horrible for mileage. Gotta' get those gas tax dollars somehow. :devilish:
