I use this stuff on my tonneaus... And on my dash, tires, and trim, seats, and headlights lol
303 (30382) UV Protectant for vinyl, rubber, plastic, tires and finished leather, 16 fl. Oz
It's a whole lot easier to add helper bags than regear.
Also if you think you'll be close on weight don't risk the fine for being above your weight rating
The trucks are still new. Give it a couple years to get some condensation in the system. They'll start failing, just like literally every other air suspension equipped vehicle.
The reports of 4th gens failing during the polar vortex were endless and more frequent the older the truck. I wasn't...
if you live in a colder climate i would stay away. It's an unreliable system below freezing.
only value in it that i see is if you load your bed down with 1000lb's on the regular. If you do that and you live in a cold climate i'd go aftermarket helper bags.
get it. Its the main feature i wish i had.
If down the road you decide you don't like it i'm sure plenty of us would be glad to swap our 8.4's out with you haha
There were no rebel 12's to be found when i got mine.
if they apply to your vehicle the dealer will do them as RRT(rapid response transmital) update/flash to your truck. They should perform any RRT that matches your vin anytime your truck comes in for service.
I believe they only apply to e-torque equipped vehicles.
mine took some time to overall...
I run costco 93 regularly. i had been doing half a tank of 87 half 93, since they don't offer 89. but i found 93 seemed to be netting better MPG. I certainly believe in top tier gas.
i wasn't aware there were issues with sams club gas. it's a pretty rare occasion i don't fill up at costco...
I'd say mine is improving. I'm now about 500 miles after the RRT. This is driving from Hilton Head, SC to Wilmington, NC. All flat low elevation. 89 octane from Sam's club.
My mpg concerns are gone.
Mine is doing it. It takes me about an hour of highway driving to start acting up.
I took it in and they cleaned some grounds. I thought it was fixed but I just took a 3 hour drive and it's definitely not.
There is no official or correct recommendation other than what makes you comfortable.
I did mine at 2k. There was clearly some metal sediment in the filter and some shimmer in the bottom of the oil. Take from that what you will.
I have no regrets
The coupon has a few stipulations.
Also The essential care 4 oil changes/2 years 115$ says it only includes 5 quarts as well.
Just some observations. I was considering paying to have it done for the maintenance records but they we're talking a 40$ upcharge per change for synthetic.
Nope
I haven't paid attention but this is definitely concerning. If it is really the case then these 12v batteries will be lucky to last a year. Especially in cold climates.
@Carven Exhaust
care to share why your exhaust differs from all other cat backs, in that it's not compatible with e-torque?
Also why is this not stated on your site? This seems like it would open up a situation that would cause massive customer dissatisfaction...
I have a feeling the op was sent the wrong exhaust and they're blaming it on etroque...
I have trouble believing swapping the alternator for the MGU on the same engine would warrant a different exhaust.
