Water leak - Found Mold - 500 Miles

I found my drain tube plug unseated just like many people on here...this after ~1+ month of ownership. Luckily, despite parking it outside and it raining here in Seattle, no water managed to get into the cab. Short answer to your ? of how to fold the rear seat back is: -recline back seats to...

One option you wish you had

wish I had gotten the Off Road Group for my Limited... I like the idea of a mild 1" lift + skid plates + 20" wheels w/ AT tires. I've got 2 skid plates on order. It also seems that there's no lift kit out yet that can give our trucks w/ air suspension a lift.

Water leak - Found Mold - 500 Miles

It was a bit of a b!#%Tch to get it back in, and I'm not even sure I was able to push it back in all the way... wonder if it'd be easier to just remove the rear seats and liner to get at the back side of the plug, then put some silicone there to ensure it stays put?

Water leak - Found Mold - 500 Miles

Curious...where is that 1st picture taken from? I have a rubbery plug that looks similar showing between the cab body and truck bed... NVM, found the thread on here about sunroof drain plug popping out...which is what mine has (after nearly 2.5 mos of ownership, I just noticed this!)...nothing...

Notice any Limiteds' with Bed Utility Group option not have Bed Divider?

I noticed when I went online and played w/ the build configurator that the BUG option in non-Limited builds come w/ the adjustable rack hooks, LED lighting AND a bed divider. But the same option on a Limited build only includes the hooks and LED lighting, NO bed divider... My Limited has the...

DIY Oil Change Shopping list for the 5.7

I would go for it then... I think there is enough clearance from the sway bar; if it doesn't fit, then return it and go for the long nipple version...

DIY Oil Change Shopping list for the 5.7

the adjustable Fumoto is pretty cool--that way you can rotate the nipple & tubing out of the way when your done. I ended up zip tieing my excess tubing to the sway bar to get it out of the way. It is 3x the cost of the non-adjustable one though...

DIY Oil Change Shopping list for the 5.7

the Fumoto drain valve is the way to go; I ordered their F106S via Amazon: Fumoto F106S but if I had to do it all over again, definitely order the LONGER NIPPLE version, that way you can zip tie a rubber hose more securely to it...

    Air Suspension Longevity?

I've heard or read somewhere that air ride suspensions longevity = ~10 yrs +/-. Rubber bladders eventually wear out. But the auto level feature when towing/hauling is cool. Keep in mind that your typical shock/spring is a wear item also...

    Rust prevention??

Unless they treat their roads in Vancouver any differently than Seattle, I doubt body rust will be an issue depending on how long you keep it. I have had 10 year old cars w/out body rust in the Pacific NW, but after 4 years driving in the midWest, it was a rust belt due to all the road salt...

    Catch Can Install - Hemi

I think the biggest factor is that there's no patent laws in China, and everything is reverse engineered. Having said that, it's a catch can. A low pressure can with an inlet, an outlet, and something to make the heated oily bypass condense. It's not rocket science, and it doesn't involve...
