Following, since my truck mirrors also do the popping noise and the passengers side doesn't always lock into place correctly. Might have to do the brass gear mod in the future..
My battery died around 11K miles (towed to dealer and they said it charged back up fine), 13K miles (towed to dealer and they said it charged back up fine), and then 16K miles (Towed to dealer and updated the Software on the truck and they finally replaced the battery) No problems since at 49K...
I am looking at getting the $22K equity out of my truck to pay off my wife's Toyota and then get a 2021 Ram with more options to replace my truck. It will be a monthly savings and I get a 2021 with the features that I didn't get on my 2019 (HUD, BUG, Ramboxes, HK 19 vs Alpine 9, Vented Rear...
Vroom offered 50,045 and Autonation offered 49,000. Carvanna only offered 42,000 so they are out. Might pick up the Limited at Mark Dodge and fly down to get it. If they get a BUG, MFT, and Ramboxes in addition to the Limited Level 1, 3.92, eTrq, model in stock in Black, Max Steel, or Pat...
I got a trade in offer but it is still about $6-7K more than what I would pull the trigger at. It is also one of the dealerships that is a scam and plays games which is why they still have the truck I want on the lot. The Ramboxes and the HUD are tempting though!
Dang that is crazy, owned it 2 years and 4 months with 48K miles and they will give me $3970 less than I paid. That is a rental cost of $141.79 per month for a amazing truck! I might have to consider ordering a 2021 or 2022.
The Valvomax looks pretty sweet! I got the FEMCO (Norwegian and American) one right after I purchased the truck and don't remember seeing the Valvomax for sale yet.
I had to cancel them twice after I renewed with my credit card. I got the cancellation notice and they cancelled my music subscription but kept charging me more for the guardian services. I filed a disputed charge with my CC company and they removed all of the charges but then Sirius called me...
Use the adaptive cruise. It babies the truck MPG pretty well and also kicks in the ECO (MDS) pretty well. I love my MPG since I went from 14.2 with my 2007 Ram Hemi 3.92, to 16ish with the new truck which is also Hemi 3.92 but tows 1600+ Lbs more with much more luxury, comfort, tech, pano...
Under the DRL settings set it to turn and USA. That should work and you may have to set it again if it didn't take, sometimes the menus are finicky. One of the other cool features is the roll up or down of your windows with 5 fey fob pushes lock (Windows up) or unlock (Windows down).
My dealer threw in the wheel locks and the spare tire cable lock for free when I bought my truck. They should all do this just to make an appearance that they care about you and your purchase. Only costs them $30-$40 at cost
Dang, guess real deals are hard to come by right now. If I was getting less than 10% off I wouldn't even think about buying. I got 31% (2000), 30% (2007) and 18.5% (2019) off MSRP on my last three Rams.
Right now I am leaning toward a Grand Design 395MS (Not to be towed with my current 1500) so I can have a vehicle to drive and the Razor to use with almost all of the amenities including a washer and dryer. My question to the group is what brands do you think are higher quality than Grand...
