Yea I’m pretty sure they had the same idea with a longer shock which is why they can pull more travel out back. I’ll still have to do sway bar links and possibly a small 1 inch lift spacer to drive the axle down. However I believe I can get about 13 inch’s of travel once completed.

Well guys did some measurements last night. It’s going to be extremely close to maxing out the shocks. Just called the sumo spring guys to figure out the max compression. It’s 80% in case anyone was curious. Might put some bump stops on the shocks themselves to be safe.

everything came in. Too bad it’s the wife’s b-day this weekend. I’ll have the write up by next weekend. Hopefully I measured right.

Let me test out these new ones and I’ll make you a deal on the old ones if they work.

Lastly I believe I’m not getting all the up travel I could be with the sumo springs. So have these triple rate ones on the way. They are about 2 inches shorter then the sumos.

Here is the conversion. Last time I bumped out the truck it had 2 inches of shaft still showing. This will affectively allow the full use of the 10 inch bypass. It will also allow the rear to droop another inch by my estimation. This will allow for another full inch of down travel or more. I’ll...

Whats up guys got tired of waiting on dirt kings so building my own long travel rear set up. I still feel the rear on the truck is lacking. Got these on sale Friday. Have a shock conversion kit coming too.

I like them. Look good. I have icons and they are great but these are well built.

Love my icon set up. 0 issues and I push the truck pretty hard. That said I have heard of the issues with them.

I got about 3.5 out of my icons adjusting them. People hate on icons but I have 15k on mine and I beat the **** out of them. This is 35’s for tires.

Well after some more research it looks like I should be able to do icons. CDEV system by swapping the reservoirs. Much cheaper option and should have similar results. Calling icon today for pricing.
