I do need a truck for a cross country move I'll be making here soon. I guess it just depends on what kind of MPG the Toyota will get, right now I'm averaging 22.5 in my V6 Ram 80 city 20 highway. (I live 3 miles from work)
The Toyota Tundra will be built in Texas... Ford in Mexico, Ram in Mexico/Detroit and GM trucks in Canada. (Atleast my 05 Silverado was). Texas is as American as it can get!
Idk boys and girls... that white and black Tundra is looking really good. Here's my 2020 next to the 2022 Tundra. I bought my truck black Friday 2019 for $35,500 out the door. The market is INSANE right now with Carmax offering me $39,000, Carvana offering me $36,000 and my original dealer...
$450 for Line-X (Basic) in Virginia Beach with Military discount. I went with basic because I have a bed cover anyway so fading from the sun won't be a problem. Can't beat that lifetime warranty.
Honestly I really like what I'm seeing and hearing about the 2022 Tundra. If I like it, and if it comes in white with black accents like the RAM midnight edition then I'll be trading in my RAM. Already got the green light from the wife.
I bought 2 Magnaflow mufflers, part # 11255, an exhaust X pipe (Amazon), and 12 inch black tips. I have the stock 20 inch night edition wheels on the stock bridgestone duelers (I think that's the tire, it's a generic highway tire).
Crap, I completely forgot about the forums guys my bad, I've been busy moving and have been up and down Virginia like a bat out of hell. I need to find the dyno sheet but what I have recorded on my phone is a gain of 6 horse power and 9 Torque. It wasn't as much as I thought it would be...
I recently had "true duals" installed in order to see if I'll gain any HP, Torque, or MPG. Check it out.
I'm currently sitting at 296 HP and 280 TQ to the wheels, and 23 MPG average, my truck goes into the Dyno next Thursday.
The system sounds way better than expected, it's actually very quiet...
