Way ahead of you, I have one on order. Talked to the vendor and it came highly recommended for being hail resistant. It was either the ArmorFlex or a Bak F1 and I was a little leary of the Bak's finish fading vs the Line X on the Undercover. I'm hoping to get my truck back today or tomorrow...
I didn't own a previous gen truck but I can say that my 2019 Limited offers a good balance between ride and handling. I had a 2015 GMC Sierra Denali with Magneride, and while I believe it handled "better" than my RAM, it also rode much more harshly. I can't stand a vehicle that drives like a...
So much for my Undercover Flex. Thought it was hail resistant and made of FRP. Some websites say yes, Undercover says no. Second time in the last 2 years I get to get a new roof and have PDR done.
My previous GMC had MRC and the RAM air suspension rides better overall. I do think MRC contributed to better handling when changing lanes and such with less body roll.
So far in the first ~8000 miles, my RAM has been been terrific. The only thing I can say I miss is the 6.2 my GMC had. Otherwise the RAM rides much better, handles better, is easier to maneuver and park (even though it is longer), and has a transmission that doesn't shudder or clunk. The...
Get what you really want so you won't have any regrets. With that being said, the first RAM that caught my eye was a billet silver limited with chrome bumpers at the Dallas auto show. I bought my Billet Silver truck off the lot with painted bumpers and prefer the painted look, but would have...

Mine gets too hot very quickly on the leather parts and warm/comfortable on the wood section. I usually turn it off after a few minutes of use. My seats also get hot very quickly even on the lowest setting.
My 2001 SIlverado LT Z71 Extended Cab. Still miss it often. Regretfully, I traded this in on an F150 Supercrew because I thought I "needed" a crew cab truck after my daughter was born. Forgive the dirt, I actually used that truck alot!
At one point I remember reading that something like 60 or more percent of the trucks made are 4wd. I used to buy only 2wd trucks because I didn't "need" a 4x4 and didn't want to spend the extra money for it. My last 3 trucks have all been 4wd and I figure I get some of the money spent back...
Since you have a Rebel, you don't have 4 Auto to assist with wet traction. I'd suggest being more gentle with the throttle. Pretty sure you have the e-locker (should be a button near the 4WD controls). You cold turn that on to assist with traction when you leave stop lights, it will turn off...
After almost 6000 miles, I wouldn't buy another truck without eTorque. Start/Stop works seamlessly compared to my wife's Acura, and the added bonus of the smoother shifting was worth the extra money. I didn't set out to buy an eTorque only to find a truck that had options that matched as close...
The cover isn't too hard to remove, there are 2 nuts on each side (1/2 inch I think) to remove and then it lifts off. Its heavy, but not so much that one person cant lift it off.
I agree the thinner flip up covers are not nearly as secure, I went for looks this time over security and...
