I should've gotten pictures but the truck has started it's new duty as a Softball Travel Hauler for the family as my oldest begins her travel ball career. 😮💨 Played 6 games as a pick up but brought home 2nd place. The little one just started competition cheer as well. So the poor truck is only...
We've got these on our CR-V. I have the OEM ones in my Ram and they're good enough but the OEM Honda All Weathers left alot to be desired. We love the tuxmat brand. Nice material and typically just a little bit extra coverage.
Redline MT-LV is what I used for the transfer case. It's listed as compatible with Mobifluid LT and Borg Warner transfer cases directly. Been fine for me.
Same. I think using Auto and at 70 is the golden ticket. Mine will freeze me out too but if I do the thermometer test I technically could have qualified or the TSB work.
I don't think the truck is going to be squatted regardless of which ring you put it on when we're dealing with half an inch.
That being said. This is my truck with the orp. The orp is 1" all the way around. I have my Eibachs set at 1.8". I'm pretty level.
Did the diffs and xfer case on mine at right under 50,000 miles. First time I've ever done this service on a vehicle. There's plenty of good videos as a guide. Not difficult to do at all.
May not help you at the moment but I kind of went through the same dilemma. I recognized that my Mazda was getting on up there at 200k miles and opted to get my next commuter - A hybrid CR-V. I sold my wife by saying "look, you get to drive a new car for 3 yrs. Then we will get you whatever you...
If anyone has been here for a while you may remember the great Shell Rotella Gas Truck Oil Rush of 2020 😂 Well, I just used the last of my surplus clearanced oil on my 8th oil change at 58,295 miles.
Was $10.50 for 5 quart jugs. 1 quart bottles were also clearanced. I think I bought like...
The issue lies in the fact that it's annoying as hell to sit in a drive thru or red light and have the truck turn off, feel the cabin get warm, and then have the truck crank back up to cool back down. I'm in a black truck in 90-100* heat. It doesn't take long for it to warm up.
I also dunno if...
Thanks for the write up. I'm about to hit 60,000 miles and this is on my to do list. I was under the impression that ZF recommends 60-80k on our trans. Guess I'll expedite this to ensure I'm right around the 60k mark.
Yea, I wasn't trying to say I don't think it's good - I just don't like it. Even in Georgia it's too hot to be cutting the engine off during the summer. It's definitely one of the better ones that aren't a "full" hybrid like our CR-V.
Our old pacifica was awful with the AS/S system.
You do realize this doesn't do anything to the etorque system right? Yes, it will turn MDS off but the etorque generator isn't gonna magically decouple itself mechanically from the truck.
For me I don't mind MDS and the push button for the auto start/stop system is right near where my fingers...
I've not driven a hybrid Rav or the Rav 4 Prime but our '24 CR-V Hybrid compared to a regular Rav 4 is ridiculous. It handles so well and drives way smaller than it is. I can't wait to daily it vs my current Mazda 3. We love the CR-V. My mother in law has the Rav and my wife and I both dislike...
Doesn't seem to matter what I do. My onboard MPG is always calculated at 14.5-16MPG. I do a ton of highway driving. If it's realistically 13.5-15 then that's good enough to for me. I've got a Mazda 3 I'm about to retire for a hybrid CR-V if I want the fuel economy.
