Interesting results, I use Reload every 6 months or so to keep up the shine and beading and it seems to work. I never tried waxing after the ceramic coating so can't respond to those results. I guess I don't know what it means to have the ceramic coat fail, I would assume it means forieng...
Yep but only the front ones. I leveraged my new purchase by having the dealer match what a Ram dealer was selling them for plus paying for shipping so I got all 4 Mopar brand for $126.
Sweet, are you going to put on a ceramic coat to protect all that work? I did what you did on my truck then added a ceramic coat from Avalon and sprayed it with Reload spray sealant which keeps water beading for about 6 months.
LOL, the image in my head of somebody getting out of the truck while it is rolling down the driveway in reverse before park is engaged made me laugh and thinking that is something I might do while parking my travel trailer..... GOD it sucks getting old
Man what a coincidence, I picked up my new truck and they tried to sell me a windshield warranty for $1400 but my wife said that our insurance will cover it under comp for $250 so we declined the coverage. The dealer looked up the price for my truck for a new windshield and it was $1200.
FYI...
Has anybody tried upgrading their interior overhead lights with ones that are brighter on a 2025 1500 Laramie?
Can the overhead lights even be removed to change?
Very nice information regarding fuses. Just a word of advice, might want to keep a volt/ohm meter handy as well as spare fuses. Fuses don't just burn up without a good reason, which is the current draw exceeded the rating of the fuse. I would suggesting checking the ohms reading of the...
I picked up my new truck from dealer Tuesday, got to drive it home at night and during a heavy rain storm. Man what a shake down cruise for this old sailor.... Didn't find anything wrong with it so far, decided to hit the gas from a stop and threw my wife back in her seat and gave me a bit of a...
I guess I was thinking of you and all those oil changes I have made over the years and none of them came out without a little mess to clean up off the floor or arms. So when I take ownership of my new truck tomorrow I have added the 5 year oil change for $600 package. Without a dip stick to...
Dam good question, wanted a larger truck I could tow my TT since the tacoma was not the best choice and the Ram has all the nice features and mileage over Ford and Tundra. Unfortunately they stopped offering the hydro blue so I went with the forged blue. Guess I just need to get in and drive...
I just saw my new truck at the dealer waiting for a new sensor cable to get installed before taking ownership. Unfortunately hydro blue color was not an option so I had to get forged blue which I am not that happy with.
Has anybody done a complete color change utilizing PPF or vynal wrap...
What did you buy for air bags? Did you get ones with remote control or push buttons you mount in the cab? I have a 19' trailer with 800-900 tongue weight so might need air bags to level out and reduce the bounce as well.
Also please tell us more about your truck in your signature block, model...
My new truck arrived yesterday and the dealer checked it out today and found an issue with a cable and connector not fitting together. He ordered a new cable to arrive overnight so hopefully I will get it early next week. Pisses me off when the workers go on strike demanding more benefits and...
Has anybody installed a roof rack or roof rail system on their 1500 Ram that doesn't have the sun roof?+
when I had my 2016 tacoma it had a very nice roof rack system that folded back to be streamline then the cross pieces rotated over to the other rail to lock in and produce the cross rails...
Hey thanks for that information. I found a local dealer who sales the Rugged brand, it will cost $241 installed. Is the liner good quality and strong enough to handle the impact of getting firewood? Any regrets in buying that brand?
Well it seems that Mopar ($388) won't sell me just one liner, here is there response to my order "Unfortunately, we cannot order that for you but in a bulk order as stated by other dealers."
It seems that DualLiner ($489) is the only option to having all 3 sides protected by thick plastic and...
