Thanks for the info. It looks like the price delta between the 750X and the 900X is less than $100, so I'd probably just spring for the 4K version.
The internal power management is a nice feature but I think I'm going to have to keep the battery voltage cut-off adjustment set rather high, so...
I'm considering the BlackVue DR900X-2CH, which replaces the DR900S, but being in Florida, I'm concerned about the overheating issues mentioned above. The DR900X appears to have some ventilation holes that weren't present in the 900S, so maybe it'll be less prone to heat issues?
Does anyone...
I swapped the factory 20's on my Laramie with factory 22's. The speedo vs. GPS speed with the 22's ranges from spot-on to one MPH of variation, which is exactly what I saw with the factory 20's.
They are fully equipped to dismount/mount/ balance.
I dropped off the wheels, four new tires and four sensors. They had them ready to bolt onto the truck when I arrived to pick them up.
I pulled in with my "old" wheels/tires and drove out with the "new" ones.
Bone stock:
Black emblems. 22" factory wheels with 285/45R22 Continental TerrainContact A/T's. Front windows tinted to match rear windows.
Contemplating having the grille surround and applique painted black (à la Night Edition).
Picked up the wheels. These were "Sport" wheels (with the machined face). They had a little rash when I bought them. The wheel shop I took them to is no joke. It's not a simple powder coating shop. They do full wheel restoration (repair rash, bends, cracks, etc). These things look better...
I just swapped the factory 20's for Continental TerrainContact A/T's in the stock 285/45R22 size. The tire itself indicates max inflation 51 PSI.
The pressure calculator posted above calculates a recommended pressure of 35 PSI.
What's the placarded (door jamb decal) pressure for the OE...
A little more dechroming.
I'm not sold on the Sport hood bezel overlay. The beveled edges of the chrome are still visible, which I'm not sure I like. I'll see if it grows on me. If not, I'll replace the bezel with the OE blacked-out version.
Just waiting for the black tailgate 4x4 to arrive.
I just filled it out but I too wonder what the catch is.
Those of you who have done this months ago haven't subsequently been bombarded with AllState (or other) SPAM?
Sorry you took my question as sarcasm. I wasn't being sarcastic. I was asking if you were aware of the TSB and if so, is there some reason you believe it to be an ineffective remedy?
Are you implying that the TSB issued for the A/C system isn't effective?
This is why I chose not to bother with the sunroof in FL. I didn't want the truck to be any more of a greenhouse than it already is and I didn't see the point in having the roof glass if the shade is closed the majority...
I've just Googled the part numbers and searched for the best deal. So far, I've ordered mostly from various sellers on eBay.
For the Sport hood bezel, I ordered an overlay decal. If I end up not liking how it looks, I'll just order the bezel.
I assume it's 82215321AD because this site indicates 82215321AD supersedes "AB" & "AC" and this post indicates that "AA," "AB" & "AC" are the affected part numbers.
Continued the dechroming. Removed the chrome tailgate RAM emblem and replaced it with black. Don't be a dumbass like me. I marred the paint ever so slightly (chipped/scratched?) having a false sense of security using plastic interior trim removal pry tools. In retrospect, I should have...
