I hadn’t found that section of the app yet. Just looked to see how my truck was driven by the MD delivery guy when they delivered my truck to me. I am happy to report that the delivery driver was much nicer to my truck (never hauling donkey) than I will ever be.
I don’t disagree at all. Given the location of the car wash relative to my house and commute to work, I would venture a guess that I end up washing it about every other week, maybe three times/month. I also applied a ceramic coating to the paint the first weekend I owned it which will go a...
No, not recommended by Ram, but damn sure won’t hurt. I bought a Valvomax oil plug that I wanted to install so I took the opportunity to put the oil I wanted in the truck (Mobil 1) and install the quick change plug at the same time.
I gave her her first oil change (1,100 miles on the clock). Also purchased a membership at a local car wash that allows me to get an unlimited number of washes each month. I washed her twice today just because.
Car and Driver actually clocks it at 4.4 seconds to 60.
I took my Tungsten on a trip from Dallas to Houston last weekend. On the way back I punched it to pass 2 semi trucks hanging out in the left lane. My only complaint from that experience was that seconds after punching it the truck...
Similar situation. I got around $20k off mine as well, but MSRP is the starting point and prices go down from there. If your truck’s MSRP had been $68k, which is what a 25% reduction would create, you likely would have paid something less than $62k.
I will be royally pissed if the Tungsten I just took delivery of goes from having an MSRP of $92k to $69k. This is my first Ram, and it will 1,000% be my last if they do that.
Anyone put a valvomax drain plug on a hurricane engine yet? I’m coming up to my first oil change and would live to install one with that change, but I’m not sure they sell one for the hurricane engine.
I’m in the DFW area as well. The thought crossed my mind today to run to the store, but I decided I’d rather stay by the fire and not bend the new Tungsten.
With that said, I did walk out into the wet snow in my driveway just to look at my new ride 🙂 It makes me happy.
Received my Tungsten last night. Got up at the crack of dawn this morning to clay bar the paint and then put on ceramic paint protection (CU.UK 3.0). It was a very long day (9 hours), but it looks fantastic and was well worth it.
MD is delivering my truck tomorrow (free delivery by the way). One of the rims was scratched up when they received it and they are simply going to replace it with a new rim they had in stock. Everything went exactly as expected. No issues with the finance or arranging the shipment. I will be...
Got the call this afternoon that mine was delivered to MD earlier today. It seems the rebates are larger today than when I ordered the truck. It’s like Christmas all over again.
I just purchased a 120V/12V mobile refrigerator (basically an electric cooler), and want to add a 12V outlet to the bed of my soon to be delivered truck with Ramboxes. Have any of you ever added a 12V (DC) outlet to a truck bed with ramboxes?
Mine is supposed to get to the rail yard on Christmas. Fingers crossed it finds its way onto a transport from there and makes its way to Lake Charles in short order. I was not so lucky at that stage in my prior F150 order.
For those of you that bought from a non-local dealer (aka. Mark Dodge or Granger, or the like), How are you handling any issues that you are finding, as many of the items on the inspection list are not the kind of thing that can be fixed in a few minutes.
